Here's your daily reminder that health is so much more than just "eating the right things" and "moving more."

Health is SO much deeper than that.

It includes:
- Balanced nutrition, including fun favorites, meals out, and cultural staples.
- Joyful movement, in whatever format that looks like (walking, dancing, chasing the kids).
- Sound sleep, for 7-9 hours a night.
- Stress management, to bring down your 9/10 stress levels to a 5/10 or lower.
- Social connection, to fill up your cup.
- Health empowerment, knowing that you're in charge of your healthcare journey.

So much of the wellness industry pushes black and white thinking. You "have" to do this for your health otherwise you're failing, or you "absolutely cannot" eat certain foods. But, it really isn't that simple.

What is cortisol… and should you be worried? 🤔

Cortisol is your body’s main stress hormone. That may sound scary, but it's actually essential for things like energy, metabolism, and keeping you alert.

The issue isn’t cortisol itself…it’s chronically high levels from ongoing stress, poor sleep, and burnout.

So no, cortisol isn’t “bad”- but balance matters.

Can you balance your cortisol with food or a supplement? No. But can you manage your sleep and stress via nutrition and food? Absolutely.
