Mark your calendars and set your alarms, North America! A stunning celestial event is approaching. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Partial Lunar Eclipse on August 27-28.

Depending on your location on the map, your experience of the eclipse will vary. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:

🌕 ENTIRE ECLIPSE VISIBLE (🔴 Red Zone):
If you reside in the Eastern parts of North America (Midwest and East Coast), you have the best seat in the house. You will be able to see all stages of the eclipse, from the very first subtle shadow to the maximum deep bite and the final exit.

🌑 MAXIMUM PHASE VISIBLE (🟡 Yellow Zone):
Observers in Central North America will catch the entire maximum phase. A very deep partial eclipse will be visible, showing a gorgeous, deep copper-red moon—nearly like a full Blood Moon experience.

🌘 SOME PARTIAL VISIBLE (🔵 Blue Zone):
For those on the West Coast, you will see the earlier, partial stages of the eclipse before the moon sets. Even a small bite out of the moon is worth the watch!

💡 Why is this Eclipse Special?
This is not your average partial eclipse. Earth's shadow will cover a massive 96.2% of the moon at maximum coverage. A partial eclipse this deep frequently causes the entire moon to appear reddish, a phenomenon known as an "Almost Blood Moon."

⏰ When to Watch:
The peak of the eclipse on this map is set for 12:12 AM on August 28 (local times on the map may vary; adjust for your precise location).

👀 Viewing Tips:

No Special Equipment Needed: You can view a lunar eclipse entirely with the naked eye.

Binoculars are Recommended: If you have binoculars or a telescope, they will enhance the color and the crater details, but they are not required.

Check the Weather: A clear sky is the most crucial ingredient.

Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse is safe to watch with the naked eye. No special equipment is required—just look up and enjoy the show! 🔭✨

Many people think the Lion's Gate Portal ends on August 8, but that's only when it reaches its symbolic peak. This year, the energy continues building as it carries into the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12, creating one of the most powerful stretches of the year for turning points, new beginnings, and unexpected shifts.

That is why the days immediately following 8/8 can feel just as significant as the portal itself. You may notice doors beginning to open that have stayed closed for months. Conversations unfolding at exactly the right time. Opportunities arriving that seem almost impossible to explain. Life has a way of gathering momentum before it reveals why.

If you've been worried that you missed your moment, you didn't. The chapter that began under the Lion's Gate Portal is still unfolding, and some of its most meaningful moments may be waiting for you over the next few days.
