Rediscovering Food

Rediscovering Food Rediscovering food through mindful eating to live a happier, healthier life Do you ever feel ashamed of eating certain foods, or guilty after you’ve eaten them?

Have you tried to lose weight by counting calories, or avoiding certain types of foods, or only eating certain times of the day? Do you wish you had more energy, or that you could be more active in your life? If any of this is true for you, I can relate. As you will see by looking at my story, I lost over 100 pounds, and my life has been completely changed. And one of the best parts is, I did it w

ithout going on a diet, and I enjoy food more now than I ever did when I was heavy. I’ve learned to love all aspects of it, rediscovering food and my relationship with it. It was after losing weight that I realized I wasn’t alone in this process. I discovered the Am I Hungry?® program, which teaches many of the same approaches I learned on my own. By focusing on why, when, what, how, and how much you eat, you may discover that you are eating for many more reasons than simple hunger, and that you spend your energy always thinking about food. These principles agreed so much with my own that I became a licensed facilitator for the program. If you want to make a permanent, lifestyle change to lead a more mindful and vibrant life, go to my website and take a look at the Am I Hungry?® tab to see the courses schedule.

Be comfortable in your own skin.
Know who you are.

Understand deeply that what people do is never a reflection of you and is always their perception of life.

You are not for everyone and they are not always for you.

When you are not included, invited, or considered, whisper to yourself, “Thank you for the space necessary in my life for the people that matter most to me. I am blessed.” 🤍

(Make peace with the fact that people hold different versions of you in their mind. Ultimately, who you know yourself to be is what matters the most.-unknown)
