On May 17, employees, friends, and family came together to raise awareness and funds in support of heart health across our local communities. Every step taken helps support lifesaving research, education, and prevention efforts for individuals and families impacted by heart disease and stroke.

Recently, Martin’s Point employees partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland for the Women Build initiative in Standish, helping create safe, affordable housing for local families. From framing walls to learning new construction skills, our volunteers worked side by side with future homeowners to make a meaningful impact.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of volunteering is arriving without knowing exactly what the day will bring and leaving with both a new skill and stronger connections with fellow Martin's Point volunteers,” shared Cassie a Martin’s Point employee from the Contact Center.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country and our freedoms.

As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we reflect with gratitude on generations of military heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. At Martin’s Point, serving retirees, active-duty service members, and military families remains a proud and enduring part of our mission.

We’re proud to support our community partner, Special Surfers as they kick off their 2026 summer season.

Special Surfers is dedicated to sharing the empowering experience of surfing with children and young adults with special needs, creating unforgettable moments of confidence, connection, and joy on the water.

Their events are made possible by volunteers who help both in and out of the water before, during, and after each session. No surfing experience is required, just a willingness to support and encourage others!
