I love life here because I am constantly reminded it doesn't have to be something wild (like loterally getting lit up to spin fire of the beach haha!), but pura vida can be found in everything we do. It is a way of living. Not just an activity. So if you're reading this, this is your invitation to bring this open-minded joy and curiosity into everything you do my friends.

Ever wonder why you wake up with a puffy face or stiff joints?
Unlike your cardiovascular system, your lymphatic system doesn’t have a heart to keep things moving. When you sleep, your lymph fluid pools, leading to that classic morning fluid retention.
To clear out the sluggishness, you have to become the pump!

On my last run, I found myself in tears at the hardships, the beauty, the high highs, the low lows, the joys and pains of being alive. I stopped in the sand and bowed down into child's pose as if looking for answers.

Maybe the deepest practice isn’t about becoming more flexible or mastering the pose.

It’s learning to listen, to the subtle messages your body has been sending you all along.

Yoga has taught me that movement can be a conversation, not a correction. That sometimes going deeper means slowing down, softening, and paying attention.

Your body isn’t something to fix.

If you know me, you know that I dislike change. Now that's not to say that I avoid it, or prevent it from happening. I just struggle with change. I always have. And my friends, I have been in a deep season of transformation these past few months. So it has been hard. But im doing the work. As best as I can. I am sitting with the offerings that keep presenting themselves over and over. And I am finally taking the leap to make some changes within myself. It is never too late.
What mirrors are you being shown in your life this summer to ignite your own transformation? Does it scare the s**t out of you, or inspire you (or both?!).
Take the leap, do the thing, cut the cord, switch the habit, stretch your mind, build the cathedral, become the temple, inspire yourself to evolve into the next best version.

I dare you to set up a wellness date with a friend for this week!
➡️ Go to the gym
➡️ Meet up for a walk
➡️ Invite her over for a yoga/pilates class
➡️ Plan an adventure
➡️ Sign up for an online monthly program together (like my calendar at stretcheveryday.yoga!)
➡️ Or sign up for an in person class together!
Not only will you inspire each other too stay active, you then get to share the experience together.
You're not alone! You just need to find your people, and pro-tip....they are often right in front of you.
