I’ve been doing chair massages at the Quarryville Library since the very beginning of Bloomly.

When I was first starting out, opportunities like this helped me get in front of the community and introduce people to my business. A year and a half later, it’s still something I look forward to.

It’s always a pleasure meeting new people, catching up with familiar faces, and supporting an organization that does so much for our community.

Tomorrow evening, Emily will be back at the Quarryville Library Center offering free 20-minute chair massages from 6:00–7:45 PM!

This event is especially perfect for anyone who’s been interested in massage but feels a little nervous or unsure about trying it for the first time. Chair massage is done fully clothed, approachable, and a great introduction to the benefits of massage in a comfortable setting.

Today we had the opportunity to provide chair massages for the residents at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community!

Massage can be incredibly beneficial for elderly individuals: helping with stiffness, circulation, chronic pain, relaxation, stress, and overall quality of life. It was such a rewarding experience getting to spend time with everyone today.

One of my favorite moments was getting to play piano for the residents between massages. It turned into such a peaceful, heartwarming afternoon.
