My FAVORITE time of year is coming- RMG The Bark Eater!! There's a few spots left if you're interested in joining!

🌙This is my 5th annual Radiant Moon Gathering (wow!) I've been SO honored to share breathwork with the participants, but I've been even more honored to connect with so many incredible women year after year.

🌙It's like a soul homecoming for me. A place to explore my inner world while connecting to like-minded women who share similar goals of creating, grounding, singing, laughing, sharing, and going deep within. All while being encompassed in the Adirondack Mountains.

The thing about grief is that it takes it's own time to journey thru it.

And grief journey is a nice term that we use to say "find the way back to a sense of new normal as the days carry on".

In a few days it will mark 6 months since my incredible husband left this realm, and i spent most of the time in that 6 months finding comfort in solitude, allowing myself the time and space to rest and digest all that has happened.

But I made him a promise that I would continue to live fully- for him- and for me.

So I'm also blooming with the rest of the flowers in southern Massachusetts. Out for walks in the woods, nightly mediation, and staying committed to daily yoga and pranayama practice.

But here's the truth- it's still hard to push thru and do it. Even making it down the hall to my beautiful yoga room is too difficult sometimes.

A mat next to the bed with the dog toys and laundry that needs to be put away is sufficient. Yes. That is enough.

As I practice my muscles remind me how much I have been closed off & boarded up. When I breathe into these spaces and get to know them once again, I'm filled with tears. For myself, for him, for remembering how to live, for blooming like a spring flower- as I also emerge from the cold dark winter.

🌬 Breathwork is an active mediation which is intended to wake and shake up your nervous system, allowing you tap into your greater consciousness and release energy from your body & mind before returning to homeostasis. This conscious connected breathing technique is done lying down, in a continuous 3-part breath for about 30 minutes, with a 15 minute integration & sound healing at the end. During her sessions Ashlyn uses reiki, sound, and oils, to aid in opening the heart, and clearing & grounding your energy. This is an intense and active mediation, which vivaciously & energetically charges the body and opens the mind to journey in a self-induced mind-altering voyage, offering the space for you to explore your conscious and subconscious while remaining in the safety of your body and breath.

🧦Wear comfortable clothes, bring water, yoga mat, blanket, optional to have lip balm, a journal, and eye pillow if it calls to you.

👋 it's been a while since I've posted here.

I've been navigating life and loss and everything in between.

My husband lost his battle to cancer in October, and since then I've been trying to keep one foot in front of the other. But the reality is, I've done such a good job at that- that I've hardly made time & space to be in my own body.

And to be really honest, everything is new and scary.

The grief that I carry now wasn't there before, and I need to make space for it in my being. Slowing down is one of the scariest things for me right now, but I know it's how I'm going to continue to find acceptance.

Today I stepped on my mat. I moved, and breathed, and it was SO intentional to be here in this moment. I also had the chance to smile thanks to my playful pup kiwi, and it felt light and welcoming.

The simple things, right?

This is the next step in my journey, my next piece of life to navigate, the next trial of coming back to myself. It's important that I continue to lean into what I know, and not to abandon myself in my time of need.

For the second time in my life, I've found a four leaf clover 🍀✨️

A message from my Irish ancestors? Perhaps!

But here's the message that this clover sent to me;

Keep seeking- hold the hope that what you seek, one day you will find. Just because it's not there when you look the first or 100th time, doesn't mean it won't be there eventually.

Believe- even when it feels magical, mystical, and silly. Let your the playfulness and childlike wonder take ahold sometimes. Allow it to slow you down so you can explore with curiosity.

Luck- is it really just luck, or do we make our own luck by putting the intentions out into the universe? That's for you to ponder but maybe, just maybe, what we put out is part of what we receive.

Love- once you find what you seek, cherish it, bask in gratitude, and fully feel the cheer that it's brought with it. That is truly the magic ✨️
