She is her own temple. Her own home. Her own sanctuary. 🌹

I’m writing this on the flight home from Mexico, still full of the mountains, still humming with the energy I found there. And that phrase keeps circling back to me because it’s not just about Guadalupe. It’s about all of us.

This is exactly what it means to cultivate feminine wisdom and feminine energy: coming home to yourself as sacred ground. And when we do that for ourselves, it ripples outward. It shapes how we show up for our families, our friends, our coworkers, our clients. A woman rooted in her own sanctuary has more to offer everyone around her, not less.

I feel like everywhere I turn right now, the collective is falling in love with Mary Magdalene her story, her wisdom, her reclamation. And I love that. It’s beautiful. But the divine feminine is so much bigger than any one face of her. She has worn a thousand names across a thousand cultures, and each one deserves to be remembered.

Here in Mexico, I felt her as Tonantzin, the original earth mother of this land, long before the Spanish arrived and layered Christian iconography over her shrines. They tried to replace her. They couldn’t. Her presence is still there in those mountains, underneath and inside the imagery and the land, patient, unshaken, alive. I felt her holding me the whole time I was there, and I’m carrying that home with me now, grateful beyond words that the divine mother meets me wherever I go, in whatever form the land remembers her.

This is the work: learning to recognize her everywhere, and learning to become her, your own temple, your own home, your own sanctuary, so you can hold that same steadiness for the people who lean on you.

I just came back from seven days in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico with an incredible group of souls who gave themselves fully to ceremony, with the land, the mountain, the spirit of this place and its extraordinary ecosystem.

What I watch happen every time we gather in a place like this is this: People arrive thinking ceremony is about doing something correctly. Following the right steps. Performing the right ritual.

And then the mountain teaches them otherwise.

Ceremony is not a performance. It is a relationship. It is the art of getting quiet enough to hear what is already singing around you, in the wind, in the trees, in the fire, in the silence between breaths. 🪶

Learning to listen in that way, to truly commune with the living world around us in a way that is balanced and reciprocal, that is the art. And I won’t pretend it came easily. It has taken me most of my life to find my way here.

But I have found it. And now I get to share it.

For years, Travis Preston and I have been in ceremonial space together — leading, guiding, training, holding circles for people ready to go deeper.

Ceremonia is an invitation to go deeper with us.

This is a 7-month container — part initiation, part creative apprenticeship — for a real, lived experience of the art of ceremony itself. Not theory. Not just talking or reading about it. Actually building and holding your own ceremonies, in relationship with the elements and the helping allies who walk with you. 🦋

We open together in person in New Hampshire this September, then move through seven months of elemental teaching — Medicine, Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Spirit, Heart & Community — each one its own doorway and taught weekly in circle on zoom. We close the circle back together next spring for a retreat.

By the end, you’ll have your own book of medicine, written in your own hand, from ceremonies you created yourself…🌀

It’s intentionally small — 8 to 10 people — so the medicine has room to move, and so Travis and I can really walk alongside each of you.
