Here's our Fun Q&A session w/ Nasim Javan:

✴️What do you do for fun?
I enjoy spending time with my kids, love to solo travel, meet people, and thrive on building community wherever I go. I also play competitive tennis, dance salsa and bachata, and enjoy reading and spending time by the water.

✴️All time favorite book?
Daring Greatly by Brené Brown. The way she talks about vulnerability and shame, the fears of not doing enough or being enough, and how to shift and challenge these views in order to show up authentically was a great read. Fair Play by Eve Rodsky is another great read for moms that completely reframes how we think about the mental load, and how to follow a framework to give yourself permission to stop being the person who absorbs everything.

✴️What are you watching or listening to right now?
I honestly don't watch a lot of tv, and read a lot more in my free time, but I did recently watch Ginny and Georgia which was a guilty pleasure. I also just finished reading Honest Motherhood by Libby Ward- a powerful personal story about childhood trauma, reparenting yourself in motherhood, and the unrealistic myths society puts on being the 'perfect mom' or doing motherhood 'the right way.' My current podcasts are Motherkind with Zoe Blaskey, Tell Me I'm a Good Mom with Lo Bosworth Natale, and Just Us Girls, because I'm a big Paige Connell fan and love her content around the mental load.

✴️ Best vacation you've ever been on and why?
Two answers. Best trip with my kids was the Dominican Republic- watching the magic in their eyes at the beach, the pool, the shows, and just being together with close friends and family was everything. Best solo trip was Puerto Rico for my birthday. I played tennis, spent time at the pool and beach, went salsa dancing, and spent an entire day at a bathhouse- a full reset and a chance to breathe and recharge outside of motherhood.

✴️What is something most people don't know about you?
Despite working remotely, I live my entire life outdoors whenever the weather allows. My kids and I are always on some kind of adventure; playgrounds, parks, swimming, bike rides, tennis, and listening to outdoor live music. My neighbors probably wonder if I even live there. We roll in late, running on no energy, but full of memories. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Women are overwhelmed with wellness advice.

Move more. Sleep better. Reduce stress. Eat healthier.

But the problem usually isn’t knowledge.
It’s trying to do too much while already running on empty.

This is why the “2% Shift” matters.

Not because it’s dramatic—but because it’s doable.

Twenty-eight intentional minutes a day can begin changing:
your energy,
your stress response,
your consistency,
and your relationship with yourself.

The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s reliability.

Small actions repeated consistently create the strongest kind of change.

Save this post and read the full article by HER Expert Sarah Parise, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Perinatal Wellness Specialist, and Strength, Energy & Self-Care Coach for Moms, for the days you feel behind.

And remember: your wellness does not have to begin with extremes.

Sometimes the most important thing isn’t another parenting tip, productivity hack, or expert recommendation.

Sometimes it’s this.

A laugh. A conversation. A moment where you feel like yourself again.

Motherhood wasn’t meant to be done alone, and neither was life.

We’re grateful for the friendships, connections, and community that continue to grow through HER. ❤️

Motherhood can feel like one endless cycle of trying to “keep up.”

The routines.
The schedules.
The wellness advice.
The pressure to do everything “right.”

But what if overwhelmed moms don’t actually need more routines… what if we need more regulation?

In this powerful HER+ Roundtable conversation, our experts unpack:
✨ why self-care can start feeling exhausting
✨ what nervous system overwhelm actually looks like
✨ how small, intentional rituals can help moms feel calmer, more present, and more connected to themselves

This episode is honest, validating, practical, and full of the kind of gentle reminders so many mothers need right now.

If you’ve been feeling mentally overloaded, emotionally stretched thin, or like wellness has become just another thing on your to-do list… this conversation is for you. 🤍

Summer feels a little lighter when you have people to share it with. ☀️

The last-minute pool invites.
The coffee dates that turn into two-hour conversations.
The moms’ nights out.
The people who text “come join us.”
The feeling of knowing there’s always a seat at the table for you.

That’s what HER Circle is really about.
Not perfect schedules or curated lives.

Just genuine connection, support, laughter, and community through all the beautiful chaos of motherhood.

As summer begins, we’re feeling extra grateful for this community and all the moments of connection that continue to grow from it. 💕

If you’re still looking for your village, know that we have a seat at our table for you! Come spend some of your summer with us.

A healthy family dynamic doesn’t happen by accident.

It’s shaped in the everyday moments:
the way we communicate,
the way we repair,
the way we care for ourselves while caring for everyone else.

And for many moms, that responsibility feels heavy.

The truth is—you do not have to create a perfect home to create a healthy one.

Small shifts matter:
More compassion.
Clearer boundaries.
Better communication.
Accepting support.

Healthy families are built slowly, intentionally, and imperfectly.

Save this for the days home feels overwhelming.
Share it with a mom who needs the reminder that she doesn’t have to do it all alone.

Grief can change relationships in ways people rarely talk about.

What happens when two people are hurting differently?
What does support actually look like when there’s no way to “fix” the pain?
And why do so many mothers feel pressure to hold everything together while grieving?

In this final episode in our Grief Roundtable series, our experts are diving into the messy, complicated, deeply human experience of grief inside relationships and motherhood.

Together, we explore communication after loss, different grieving styles, emotional overwhelm, isolation, and how couples and families can stay connected through difficult seasons.

This conversation is compassionate, validating, and filled with reminders that grief doesn’t have to be carried alone.
