FaithCare, Inc was established in 1994 as a non-profit organization to bridge the gap between faith and medicine. The American Association of Medical Colleges challenged medical educators to be role models by teaching medical students and residents how to incorporate spirituality into the practice of medicine. Aware of this and recognizing the need to keep faith alive in the lives of physicians, n

urses and allied health professionals, Dr. Peter Schnatz and several other founding members joined for meetings as FaithCare began. The vision was to bring together medical and non-medical individuals who desire to bring health, hope and healing “to and through” the healthcare community. Since 1994, FaithCare volunteers have freely given patients lifesaving access to affordable, holistic and quality health care services through its Wellness Centers, Health Fairs, Visitations, International Missions, Education, and Counseling. Our outreach and medical services extend to needy patients across the nation. We serve as a critical, medical safety net for needy patients, bridging the gap between faith and medicine. Markedly unique, the FaithCare Model allows our global volunteer team to uplift spiritual counseling as an important component of healing.

Remembering Arthur W. Hill, Jr. — A Life of Faith in Action

The FaithCare family mourns the loss of our dear friend and longtime servant, Art Hill, who passed away August 15.

Art served on the FaithCare Board for 18 years, participated in three international medical outreaches, and faithfully supported the mission he loved. One of his greatest hopes was to see a FaithCare hospital established in Nigeria; a dream that became reality in 2024. Today, a room at the hospital bears the names of Art and his beloved wife, Peg, in honor of their faithful support.

Art didn't simply talk about his faith; he lived it, through service, generosity, wisdom, compassion, and love for others.

We are grateful for his life, his friendship, and his lasting impact on FaithCare.

We thank God for this wonderful week! So many people were impacted by this outreach. Many came far and wide to receive both improved health and physical healing, but God provided far more than that. Through Gods wisdom & guidance, as well as through faith & prayer many received healing both physically and spiritually.

As we go into our final day at the clinic for this outreach we want to thank all of those who have been in prayer for our patients and our team. Truly we have witnessed many great things this week in the name of Jesus Christ. Yesterday (Thursday) we were privileged to serve another 349 patients. This week has been such a blessing to not only our patients, but to our team as well. We thank God for all he has done on this outreach, and look forward to serving even more people today.

We thank God for our 3rd day here in Ugep on Wednesday! Many came again today for treatment. With Gods grace we saw 309 patients today! Many who cannot afford to see a Doctor any other time. Some who traveled many hours to receive health, hope, and healing. Many men, woman, and children came for medical treatment, but more importantly left with a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for our patients and our team as we begin our 4th day at the outreach! Without Christ, none of this would be possible!

Yesterday was another amazing day at our FaithCare outreach in Ugep, Cross River State, Nigeria. On day 2 (Tuesday) we were able to serve 407 patients. Many great testimonials are coming out of this trip, and many lives are being changed. Many are receiving physical healing, and many are coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ! Please continue to pray for our team as we have begun our 3rd day at the clinic. Prayers for wisdom, safety, endurance, and that we would truly be the Light of The World. We give God all the glory!!!

What an amazing 1st day it was for our FaithCare team serving the people of Ugep, Cross River State, Nigeria. The team arrived to be greeted by the masses, and began providing health, hope, and healing immediately. With God’s grace we were able to see 347 patients on our first day! We give God all the glory for the many lives changed on Monday!
