What makes UpState Hearing different? The people behind the care. 💙

From celebrating those “aha” moments when a patient reconnects with the world around them, to supporting one another as a team, there’s a shared purpose behind everything we do.

We communicate. We work together. We give back to the communities we serve. And most importantly, we genuinely care about helping every person who walks through our doors hear their best.

Advocacy. Driven. Family. Three words that say a lot about what it means to be part of UpState Hearing.

✨ Meet the Team Tuesday! ✨

Meet Julia Wood, Patient Care Coordinator & Lab Tech at UpState Hearing Instruments!

Julia has quite literally grown up alongside UpState Hearing Instruments as the youngest daughter of Ken Wood, who led the business for more than 30 years. She officially joined the UpState team in the summer of 2024, bringing with her a natural talent for problem-solving and a genuine passion for helping others.

Julia also plays a huge role in holding down our Red Bluff office every week! She helps keep things moving, takes care of our patients, troubleshoots hearing aids, and makes sure our Red Bluff community has someone they can count on.

Outside of work, Julia’s biggest role is being a mom to her three children, who keep her life busy, fun, and full of adventure. She loves spending time outdoors with them, getting creative together, playing a variety of musical instruments, and making memories whenever she can.

We’re so lucky to have Julia as part of the UpState family!

Help us show Julia some love! 💙

Hearing loss does not always mean the world suddenly sounds quieter.

Sometimes, it means the little details of everyday life start to disappear. 👂✨

The crinkle of a bag. The click of a turn signal. The crunch of footsteps. These sounds may seem small, but they are part of the texture of everyday life.

Treating hearing loss can help bring back more of that clarity, so you can stay connected not only to conversations, but to the details happening all around you.

Don’t let those moments quietly fade away. 🔊
