We’ve been a little quiet around here, but behind the scenes we’ve been dreaming up a fall schedule that feels aligned, alive, and balanced… and taking some time to actually rest and reset before we head into one of our favorite sauna seasons.

Join us for a guided forest bathing experience (by ANFT certified hosts Stick & Stone) followed by hammock sound bath in the woods. We’ll begin with a mindful walk with invitations and tea ceremony to help you connect with the forested then settle into suspended hammocks (provided) as you’re immersed in the calming sounds of crystal singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments.

No meditation or forest bathing experience is needed. No pressure to “do it right.” Just an invitation to rest, breathe, and let the forest do what it does best.

There’s something special about getting to be the guests for a change.

We (Shannon and Sarah) took a day trip to KOS Sauna in Saratoga Springs, and it was exactly what we needed. We talked the whole drive, sweated in their beautiful wood-fired sauna, plunged into the lake (again and again), read on the top deck, and left feeling more connected than when we arrived.

As co-owners of Stick & Stone, we intentionally make time to nurture our friendship outside the day-to-day of running a business. Those moments of rest and honest conversation make us better partners, and ultimately help us create better experiences for our own community.

We also believe that supporting other sauna businesses helps grow sauna culture as a whole. Every sauna has its own personality, and it was such a joy to meet Kate and experience the beautiful space she’s created as Kōs.

Our last Forest Bathing, Tea Cermony, and Sound Bath with Brett Richardson and Crystal Core Vortex sold out in days, and we LOVED setting up this experience for people to notice, rest and receive.

We’re getting ready for round 2 on August 9, and round 3 on September 6. We’ll be announcing booking later today, so stay tuned!

Join us in Victor, NY for a morning designed to help you step out of survival mode and into the forest.

We’ll begin with a guided forest bathing/shinrin yoku experience by ANFT trained guides (Stick & Stone) where you’ll be invited to slow down your pace, awaken your senses, and reconnect with nature. Then, settle into a cozy hammock suspended beneath the trees for a deeply restorative sound bath (courtesy of Brett Richardson and Crystal Core Vortex), allowing the sounds of crystal bowls, gongs, and more, along with the sounds of nature, to guide you into complete relaxation (and perhaps a nap?) 💤

No experience is necessary. Just bring yourself and a willingness to unwind. Blankets, Turkish towels, cozy apparel welcome. Get comfy.
