Introducing Sauna Social: Nature Edition at Holmes Hollow Tree Farm.

Join us for 3.5 hours of open sauna time in nature. Arrive when you want. Leave when you want. Move between the wood-fired sauna, cold rinse, bonfire, pondside seating, hammocks, and the Crescent Trail at your own pace.

Bring dinner or snacks and warm over the fire. Take a hike. Sit by the pond. Sweat, cool down, and repeat.

No schedule. No rushing. Just space to slow down.

Our first Urban Sauna Village at the Rochester Public Market was everything we hoped it would be… and then it rained. ☔️🔥

We sweated, plunged, danced to the music, gathered around conversations with old friends and new ones, and watched grown adults rediscover the child-like joy of dumping a bucket of cold water over their heads.

The debut of our all-black cold plunge felt right at home, and the rain only added to the experience. One of our favorite things about sauna culture is that it invites you to embrace whatever weather shows up.

Once you’re already hot, sweaty, and splashing around in cold water, a little rain feels pretty incredible.

A huge thank you to WNY Heat Retreat and The Great New York State Flea for partnering with us to bring this experience to life, and to the Rochester Public Market for graciously hosting us in the heart of downtown.

More heat. More cold. More community.

Let’s have a moment for the bucket shower in all its glory. We all know that Stick and Stone loves a good nature sauna… but one of the things we love about setting up in urban settings is the bucket shower!! It’s a child-like joy and makes everyone giggle (and cool off). It refills on its own so you can rip that sucker as many times as your child heart desires... and then get back in the sauna.

Rochester, we finally got the green light! (Side note: cold plunging feels GREAT in this weather 🙃)

This Sunday, June 14, we’re bringing Rochester’s first Urban Sauna Village to the Public Market with two wood-fired saunas (hello WNY Heat Retreat), cold plunges, bucket showers, and a chance to slow down in the middle of the city.

What we love about urban events is the chance to set up more cool down options for that contrast therapy experience that we can’t set up on the middle of nature. 🔥❄️

This one came together fast; grab your spot and join us for a unique outdoor wellness experience in the heart of Rochester. We’ll be taking bookings on site as well, just show up with a suit, towel, and a water bottle!

Still feeling incredibly grateful after a beautiful weekend at NYS Yogafest in Letchworth State Park. From storm clouds (why are we always towing in storms? 💀) to sunshine, the day unfolded into movement, wellness, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in the sauna, experienced essential oil snowballs, and paired heat with cold plunges with Lumos. We loved connecting with so many incredible yoga teachers, wellness business, and community builders from across New York State.

We finally got the green light 🔥

After waiting for approvals, we’re excited to officially announce that the Urban Sauna Village is coming to downtown Rochester this Sunday.

We’re teaming up with WNY Heat Retreat, The Great NYS Flea, and the Rochester Public Market to transform a corner of the city into a space for heat, cold, recovery, and connection.





Join us Sunday from 9AM-3PM for limited access to:
• two wood-fired saunas
• three cold plunges (our plunge debut!)
• bucket showers
• a unique outdoor wellness experience in the heart of Rochester

Because approvals came through at the last minute, we’re getting the word out with only a few days to spare, so if you’ve been wanting to experience sauna and cold plunge, now’s the time.

Enough said.
The phone graveyard is one of our favorite parts of sauna. ☠️📱

You don’t really have a choice; bring your phone in and it’s basically a very expensive science experiment.
For an hour or two, the notifications stop. The scrolling stops. The barrage stops.

What’s left is your breath, your body, the heat, and maybe a conversation with a stranger (or complete silence, which is pretty great too).

Turns out the world keeps spinning without us for a little while.

June lineup + we listened, and we’re trying something new: Sauna Social!

Plus we’re slinging sauna snowballs with essential oils and Snow Cones because we’re children at heart. Nuff said.

As always, you’re encouraged to bring food and treats to roast over the fire. Anyone who attended in May knows that Shannon can be found with a pot of rice and chicken or a burrito over the fire. If anyone wants to collaborate on a fire roasted charcuterie, we’re game!

Our latest wellness experience at Kin Event Space in Rochester, NY, created space to move, connect, recover, and be present. We loved watching people flow through the day… working out, practicing yoga, enjoying sound healing and sauna, sharing conversations, and leaving feeling grounded.

We’re grateful for the incredible partners and practitioners who helped bring this experience to life!
