Freedom Mobility Center Freedom Mobility Center LLC is a family-owned business specializing in Complex Rehab Technology. We also offer financing for customers without insurance.

Freedom Mobility Center is an accredited Complex Rehab Technology Supplier serving California since 2007. We are experts in power and manual wheelchairs, scooters, ambulatory aids and a variety of other home medical equipment. Our mobility and home care products provide a welcome alternative to long term care facilities by empowering our clients to maintain their independence at home. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, and most health insurance plan, and we file all your insurance paperwork for you at no charge. We educate our clients about their insurance benefits and work closely with their physicians, case managers, and therapists to assure proper requirements are met for insurance coverage. We also offer free home delivery and provide individualized patient training and education on equipment use. Freedom Mobility Center LLC is Insured, Bonded, and Licensed in the State of California as a Durable Medical Equipment Supplier, and we are fully Accredited by the Board of Certification.

Getting a new wheelchair can take some adjustment, but that’s completely normal! For instance, the controls might feel unfamiliar at first, or the fit may need some fine-turning before it really clicks.

Most people find their groove within a few weeks, though it’ll depend on the type of chair you have and how much use you’re getting out of it.

Keeping up with your wheelchair’s maintenance schedule will not only help it last longer, but also make it less likely to leave you stranded at the worst possible moment. Here are just a few things worth staying on top of:
• Check your battery regularly and charge it fully before long outings.
• Keep your chair clean and dry, especially after being outside.
• Schedule professional service every 6 to 12 months.
