Day one was at EVOLUS | USA HQ for an EVOLUS ACADEMY lecture series with Dr. Benji Dillon. It was my third time training with him, and I still walked away with pages of notes. We also met with the Evolus medical affairs lead and CEO, which was a rare chance to hear the science and the vision straight from the source.

Even better, I got to spend it with my SkinSpirit family from across the country, including CodyLynn, who did my onboarding training two years ago. Full circle moment 🤍

Day two was the cadaver lab with , the go-to anatomist in aesthetics. We dissected tissue layers and tested our technique to confirm our filler landed exactly in the plane we intended. This is the work behind every treatment I do. Anatomy first, always.

Then a red-eye home and right back in the chair 💉

I always considered myself “good” at lips… BUT

that doesn’t mean I stop learning. I am forever curious about other techniques and products and how I can be better.

Lips are like faces - but I find that they’re actually harder because even though they’re smaller, a tiny detail can be noticeable. Every millimeter counts in the face , but every micron counts in the lips. So lately I’ve been using a couple products in the lips to get them as close to perfect as I can.

I trained so much this month both as an educator and a student. Learning injectables is one thing but communicating and teach effectively is another.

A day in my life as an aesthetics trainer ☕💉

Lashes on first, always ( 🤍). Then into the city for an injector training at Nylo Studios with Christina Nalbone. It’s always so good seeing so many familiar faces from industry events.

Next I headed downtown to shoot with for their new ceramide lip liners 💋 I’m wearing Smoked Cinnamon. I never go darker, but I’m obsessed.

I stopped for matcha ice cream at Aoko 🍵, then went home for dinner with the kids and a Zoom presentation on PCOS.

I wound down with my night routine 🧴 Gentle Amino Powerwash, Daily, P-TIOX, AMPRA, and trying Transformation Cream.
