1 Fill a jar with saved orange peels and cover them with vinegar.
2 Let it sit for 30 days to infuse.

Acne-prone or oily skin doesn’t mean your skin needs to be stripped — it means it needs balance 🤍

Tallow can actually help regulate oil production because it’s bio-compatible with your skin’s natural sebum. When your skin feels nourished, it often stops overproducing oil in response to dryness or irritation.

✨ How to use tallow properly for oily or breakout-prone skin:
• Always start with freshly cleansed skin
• Apply a gentle toner first (rose water or alcohol-free witch hazel work beautifully)
• While skin is still slightly damp, warm a very small amount of tallow between your fingertips
• Press — don’t rub — into the skin
• Use mainly at night so your skin can adjust and rebalance

Less is more. If your skin is new to tallow, begin using it 2–3 nights per week, then slowly increase if your skin responds well. Overapplying can feel heavy and may clog pores before your skin adjusts.

🌿 Best blend for oily or acne-prone skin:
I recommend starting with Unscented for the most gentle introduction, or Lavender for calming and balancing support.

If your skin struggles with uneven tone or texture, Immortelle/Chamomile can offer powerful revitalizing support — but keep in mind this blend is more stimulating and may not be the best choice for sensitive skin.
If you struggle with congestion but also dryness, Vanilla with castor oil can help support deeper cleansing — just use sparingly.
