Babies and toddlers grow and develop at different rates.

Early intervention can improve the outcomes for children who need a little extra help to keep their development on track. Early intervention services are authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and are available in every state. As part of the Utah Department of Health Baby Watch Early Intervention program, our goal is to help your child grow and learn, and reach their

potential. The Kids Who Count early intervention program serves children from birth to age three in the Nebo School District boundaries who have a delay in their development or a diagnosed disability. Some of the best moments don't come from a screen — they come from a shared meal, a walk outside, or a game night that runs a little too long. 💛

This June 8–14, Utah is celebrating Family Connection Week — a reminder that a few minutes of real, face-to-face connection can make a lifetime of difference.

Research shows that young people with strong relationships at home are more resilient, less likely to experience anxiety and depression, and better equipped to make healthy choices. It doesn't have to be elaborate. Cook together. Go on a hike. Play a game. Start where you are. Begin while they are young!

On this International Day of Families, we want to take a moment to honor every parent, grandparent, sibling, and caregiver who shows up for their child every single day. You are the heart of what we do.

What you do matters more than you know.

When you sit in on therapy sessions, practice at home, cheer on every small win, and advocate fiercely for your child — you are changing their life. The progress we see in our kids every day doesn't happen without you.

Early intervention works because families work. And ours are extraordinary.

To our families, we see you:
❤️ The parent who rearranges their whole schedule to make every appointment.
❤️ The grandparent stepping in and learning something new every week.
❤️ The sibling who becomes their brother's or sister's biggest cheerleader.
❤️ The caregiver who keeps going even on the hardest days.
❤️ Every family member who loves their child exactly as they are — while believing in everything they can become.

"You don't have to be a therapist to make a difference. You just have to show up. And you do, every single day."

Thank you for trusting us with your child and your family. It is the greatest honor.
We are so proud to walk this journey alongside you. 💚
