Fourth Street Clinic

Fourth Street Clinic Fourth Street Clinic delivers comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to individuals facing homelessness, improving health with lasting impact.

Fourth Street Clinic is more than a safety net to homeless persons, it is a lifeline. Only with your support can we continue to provide needed and critical health care to those men and women and families that are experiencing homelessness. There are NO other health care services available that focus solely on homeless patients. We are fortunate to be in a community that recognizes the important wo

rk being done and are willing to support with a financial contributions. Fourth Street Clinic depends on our staff, board, volunteers, donors, in-kind gifts and more to provide quality comprehensive care to patients. Each year more patients come through the door which means an increased need to rely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and institutions for funding.

August is Immunization Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of vaccines and the role preventive care plays in protecting individual and community health. At Fourth Street Clinic, we believe healthcare should meet people where they are, especially when Barries can make accessing preventive care more difficult. Read our latest blog post to learn more about our Vaccine Outreach program that brings vaccines directly to our patients and the community: https://fourthstreetclinic.org/immunizationawarenessmonth/

It’s National Health Center Week! This week, we’ve been celebrating the people who make Fourth Street Clinic special - our patients and our dedicated staff ❤️

To show our appreciation, staff received snack packs provided by our Board Members, personal thank you notes, and Fourth Street Clinic branded hats to thank them for the outstanding care and compassion they bring to our clinic every day. We also celebrated our patients with a sweet treat! They received delicious cookies from RubySnap as a thank you for trusting us with their care.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and proud to celebrate the people who make our work meaningful. Happy National Health Center Week!

July is UV Safety Month! The reality of our patients is harsh and living unhoused means facing chronic sun-exposure with minimal to no protection. Because of this, people experiencing homelessness face disproportionately high rates of skin cancer — yet are the least likely to get screened. That’s why Fourth Street Clinic hosts free skin cancer screening days in partnership with University of Utah Health , staffed by dermatology residents ready to make a difference for our patients.

Want to support our unhoused neighbors this summer? We are accepting donations of sunscreen, hats, water bottles and electrolytes. You can order supplies from our Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/GHN9ZGF65ITN?ref_=wl_share or drop them off at 440 South 400 West Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.

Lots of exciting things are happening at Fourth Street Clinic! This month, we were joined by an amazing group of volunteers from our partner, Traeger Grills, who helped us organize our donations and supplies. Traeger has also been a large supporter of our employee appreciation initiatives and donated the Traeger that our Mobile Clinic Supervisor, Tanya, won during our spring step challenge!

This year at Toast to Good Health, we highlighted our incredible Dental Team! Dr. Makadia, Michala and Kaylee have been dedicated to re-establishing our dental program and bringing back access to quality dental care. Because of their hard work, our dental clinic is now open to established patients who need preventative, restorative and urgent dental services. A big thank you to Caputo's Market for hosting our event and to our sponsors and supporters for attending and learning more about the work we do — we appreciate you!
