This VFW Day, we’re honored to recognize one of our incredible veterans and volunteers.

After serving in the Army in Thailand and achieving the rank of E-5, Gary Beasy continued a lifetime of leadership with a 32-year career at Goshen Sash and Door, including 26 years as plant manager. Today, alongside his therapy dog Henry, he continues serving others through his volunteer work with Heart to Heart Hospice. As he shared, “God continues to use me to help people.” Thank you for your service, dedication and compassion. ❤️

Recently, our Valparaiso, Indiana team had the opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life and service of veteran Judith K. Stryczek, whose 25 years in the Army Reserves and decades as a nursing educator left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Our team celebrated National Teddy Bear Day across San Antonio and South Texas today! We shared education over the Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation and our partnership with Build-A-Bear! The Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation provides a Build-A-Bear to children struggling with the loss of a loved one on hospice services.

Our Hospice House may be just a stop in a patient’s journey, not their final destination. Although most hospice care is provided in the place a patient calls home, sometimes a patient may qualify for care in an inpatient setting either to manage a medical crisis or for a respite when the caregiver needs a break from their caregiving duties.
