Did you know getting help to quit smoking is a Medi-Cal benefit?

Services include 2 quit attempts each year. During each attempt, you get:
• To***co cessation medicines
• 4 sessions of counseling

You can also call the free California Smokers’ Helpline at 1(800) NO-BUTTS (1(800) 662-8887). The helpline offers self-help materials, referrals to local programs, and 1-on-1 counseling to quit smoking.

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we’re proud to celebrate the rich cultures and traditions of our staff, members, and community who identify as AAPI.

We are also thankful for our continued work with Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center / TEL HI to support our city’s AAPI elders. From Lunch and Learn events to Medicare presentations, TEL HI has given us space to share helpful health information in English and Cantonese—helping ensure our AAPI elders feel informed and connected.

Here’s to continuing meaningful work and celebrating our AAPI community all year long!
