Do you know what dealing with low back pain, neck tension or mental stress feels like?

You might address it with an occasional visit to the gym or physical therapist, hoping what’s bothering you will go away and never come back.

I totally understand that.❤️

But does it go away?

What if there is a more effective approach?

What if you could find out why exactly your body is getting uncomfortable during your daily activities, and why it accumulates tension, stress and unease in the first place?

This is what I help with as an Alexander Technique teacher and coach.

From the very first lesson, the insights you get about yourself, about how the way you move affects you, and how your body can work more efficiently are life-changing.

Not just for healing your pain but for personal growth in the deepest sense.

At first glance it might seem simple and a bit strange: You’re getting introduced to how to pay attention to yourself in activities you do every day such as standing, walking or sitting down at your desk.

But the deeper you go with your awareness, the more you realize how connected every part of your body is to your overall well-being, and why your pain has developed in the first place.

For me, this journey into whole body self-awareness has been deeply transformative. I found solutions and insights that I didn’t even know I missed but badly needed to overcome the chronic stomach aches and emotional stress I dealt with.

It’s not an awareness that develops overnight but it’s a practice; you’re practicing a new ongoing relationship with your own body that’s based on trust.

And you finally understand how your body works anatomically - which means you can finally use it in ways that make you feel happy and strong.

Comment ✨CONNECT ✨ if you would like to find out how you can awaken new lightness in your body you didn’t know existed.

Here are 4️⃣ TIPS that can help you to further optimize your driving posture - especially for long drives. 🚗🚗🚗

1️⃣ Seat Height & Distance

— Raise the seat so your hips and knees are closer in height, and adjust so your knees are slightly bent when pressing the pedals.

2️⃣ Seatback Angle

— Adjust your seatback so that it’s close to a vertical angle. Do not recline it too far to avoid forcing “forward head posture” (what your chin and head stick forward).

3️⃣ Headrest Adjustment

— Ensure the middle of the headrest aligns with the middle of your head (not above or below).

4️⃣ Steering Wheel

— When gently holding the wheel, make sure your elbows are slightly bent (no more than 20-30 degrees) and your shoulders relaxed, not shrugging.

Many of my clients find long drives difficult on their body. Its that an issue for you too? Let me know below👇

Most people think that having good posture is hard. 🥹

But no two-year old complains about back pain or shoulder tension.

The truth is that our collective idea of "good posture" is already flawed.

If "good" means "right", then I want you to know that there is no such thing as "right posture".

Why?

Because your body doesn't care about right or wrong. It only cares about --> SUPPLYING YOU THE FREEDOM AND SUPPORT THAT WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE, SAFE, AND MOVING. ✨

How free can you be, as the embodied self that you are, when you respond to gravity, to breath, to life itself?

⚠️ Trying to control your posture means you're disconnecting from your natural support, from the actual foundation of physical freedom and ease.

⚠️ It means you're overriding the subtle but intelligent coordination that keeps you balanced, mobile, and expressive.

Trying to sit, stand or walk taller by force brings more tension, not freedom. And it can hurt.

Ease is only possible when you stop interfering with the design that’s already built for it.

If you’ve been trying to “sit straight” or “stand tall” and still feel compressed or tense, this is your sign that your body doesn’t need more effort. It needs awareness.

If this perspective speaks to you and you want to learn how it can help you, commment 💬 ✨CONNECT✨ for a free posture consultation.

It’s never “just” a reminder.

For many of us, holistic posture awareness IS THE MEDICINE we’ve been missing.

It is so important because chronic tension is much more than a physical habit.

🥹 It’s the way we’ve learned to survive.

🤯 Our brains still follow those old pathways, so we keep carrying the same mind–body tension into everything we do.

✱ But what if the belief of having to "hold yourself together” in order to carry on in life is the very thing that keeps you from feeling free and at ease in your body?

✱ What if those old tension patterns — the ones that keep your posture pulled down and your movements compressed — could begin to resolve the moment you become aware of them?

🎉🫶🏼 That’s why the Inner Posture work matters.

✱ It's a lasting path out of chronic tension and into free, naturally upright posture and ease in your body.

Today, remember that your body does NOT require you to "hold yourself together". You are free to let go. Allow your spine to take up a little more space in your body. Let yourself be lifted, open, blossoming.

✨ FOLLOW for more reminders that help reconnect you with your body’s natural ease.

You are not alone. ✨

I know my fair share of back pain. And I have come to learn that the antidote to stress, discomfort, unease and pain in my body is to understand what really causes this pain.

And I never need to look further than the way I have been (unconsciously) moving and holding my body.

💥This can’t be remedied with pain killers, posture gadgets or more exercise.

💥It can only be healed through a new kind of personal education that will improve your body awareness and sense of self.

✨If you’re done with your suffering, and ready to find support and freedom from pain in your body, comment the word CONNECT and I will introduce you to the exact path that freed me from my back pain.

💥Follow to learn how to free yourself of limiting movement patterns and improve your posture naturally! 🔥
