BIG things are coming to Wild Ivory this winter. I can’t tell you all of them yet, but I can tell you the first…

Nobody hands women the manual. Not for the money conversations, the body changes, the aging parents, relationship shifts, empty houses, or the paperwork that shows up at the worst possible time. We piece it together from group texts and 2 AM Googling.

So we’re doing it differently. Need To Know Basis is a new Wild Ivory series: real conversations about the stuff women should know, with women who’ve lived it and local pros who actually know it. Honest stories, practical takeaways, out loud, in one room.

The first night gets announced next week. The Self-Care Crew hears about it before anyone else, then our newsletter list, then social media.

Hopping on this trend because October feels like a good month to let some things die. 👻

And this isn’t me standing on a pedestal. I’ve probably done versions of some of these too.

The older I get, though, the less interested I am in competition, comparison, keeping score or making another woman smaller so I can feel bigger.

We want to be the women who clap when another woman wins. Send the link. Give the credit. Make the introduction. Invite the new girl in. And say “good for her”…and mean it.

Women supporting women isn’t a slogan. It’s how we act when no one’s watching.

So, what else are we ghosting? 👻

A better question is… what didn’t we do?!

We partnered with Lady of the Vine and hosted our second ever Black Glass Challenge. A w**e tasting where you drink from a black w**e glass and use your senses to determine what type of w**e you’re drinking. So educational and informative… and too much fun. 🙃

We hosted our first ever Fore Play co-ed golf evening at Pease Golf. A night where women showed off their newly learned golf skills from our clinics in August. This will be a must do next summer. Currently accepting applications for golf course courses who want to partner. 👀

Wild Ivory was brought on to help organize and run the night of Curated by Shannon Shipman event The Bloom Effect at Bird Dog C***r A night of celebrating flowers, organic farming, and the people who take this passion into our community.

Whew… what a month. Who is ready for October? 👀

WHAT A NIGHT. There almost aren’t words, it was THAT good.

Wild Ivory’s 4th Birthday aboard Isles of Shoals Steamship Company with RDMTIONBAND playing did not disappoint. 💃🏻
