📣 🏆 We are so honored to share that RISE Performance & Health has been named a winner of the Seattle Times Best in the PNW People's Choice Award in Physical Therapy for the SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR!! 🥉

When we opened our doors in Westlake in 2022, we made a bet. That people were hungry for something different. That active adults in Seattle deserved a physical therapist who treats the whole person, not just the injury. That investing in your health fully and completely could create a ripple effect far beyond the clinic walls. You have proven that bet right, twice now.

This year felt different. We welcomed Roy Parsons to our team. We expanded into a second treatment room overlooking the water. We showed up in more gyms, at more events, in more corners of this community than ever before. And through all of it, you kept showing up for us. That consistency means everything. It tells us our roots here are growing deeper. 🌲

Pregnant and postpartum moms weren’t built to sit on the sidelines. 🤾🏻‍♀️

They don’t need to take it easy. They need to train smarter and harder than we’ve probably been told.
Pelvic floor strengthening is more than Kegels, it’s built through real strength training and lifting, not passive little squeezes.
Heavy lifting is linked to improved health outcomes for baby AND mom. The “walk and rest” advice is FAR outdated. 🏋🏽‍♀️
A guided return-to-run postpartum doesn’t just get you back on pace, and feeling better in your body, it’s also strongly linked to a lower risk of postpartum depression.✨
Movement is truly medicine here. The stronger you train through pregnancy and postpartum, the stronger you come back both physically and mentally. How cool is that!

You don’t have to shrink during one of the most powerful seasons of your life. You get to RISE through it. And we’re here for it.

RISE Performance & Health | Physical Therapy Seattle is heading to the Seattle Wellness Block Party.🌱 We're joining YERBANA + Abundance Social on Saturday, August 8th, 9am-2pm at 415 Westlake Ave N, and we're bringing FREE 15-minute Injury Assessments all day!

Expect a full morning of yoga, breathwork, silent disco, sauna, and coffee by Kakáo. We'll have a table doing what we do best: helping active people figure out if their pain is something PT can fix.

Seattle showed up for Global Running Week. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏿‍♂️🏃‍♀️
All week long, brought run clubs together across the city. Gasworks Park. Golden Gardens. Green Lake. MOHAI. Tacoma. Different paces, different neighborhoods, one community.

Special shoutout to for doing what you do every single week, not just during Global Running Week. All paces, all faces, sweepers at the back. You’ve consistent made a space for community in a city where connect can be hard. And we love being your neighbors in South Lake Union.
