My client came to me with a clear concept: a biblical angel, but without eyes.
She wanted to avoid a traditional angel figure and instead create a ball of wings.

For this design, we combined different types of wings within one composition. Bird wings for a classic angel reference, insect wings for lightness and transformation, and animal wings to add structure and contrast. The goal was to keep it balanced, detailed, and clean while still feeling dynamic.

This piece was fully custom and designed specifically for her anatomy and placement.

A little lantern collection I’ve been sketching lately 🖤
Inspired by vintage street lights, gothic windows, and quiet night vibes.
Each piece is designed as clean blackwork with strong silhouettes and soft ornamental details, so they heal beautifully and stay readable for years. These would work great as standalone pieces or as part of a larger ornamental or gothic sleeve.

From a simple sketch I drew during a drawing night in the studio, when a bunch of us tattoo artists got together and just freehanded ideas with no particular inspiration in mind to actually creating a whole set of those sketches, presenting them at an event, and then tattooing two of them, which I’m super excited about. What you’re seeing in this post is one of those tattoos, and I’ll share the other one a little later.

I’m immensely grateful to the people who are interested in my art, who want to get my sketches inked, and who are ready to carry a piece of me and my creativity on their skin forever. I think that’s just so amazing, and I’d love to do more of my own designs and move further in that direction in the future.

Two of my absolute favorite subjects to draw came together in this piece: insects and florals 🐞🌸
There’s something I really love about the contrast between delicate flowers and the structured, almost graphic form of a beetle. Watching it finally come to life was honestly so satisfying.

This design was created with flow and placement in mind, keeping it elegant but bold and timeless enough to age beautifully.

Привіт усім! Я — Домініка, ваша тату-майстриня з Харкова. Сьогодні хочу поділитися з вами своєю історією. Переїзд до Америки став для мене новим початком і великим викликом. Я знаю, що попереду довгий шлях становлення у новій країні, але це мене не лякає.
Часом може здатися, що почати все наново — страшно. Але насправді страшно не спробувати. Кожен новий день — це можливість вчитися, зростати і ставати кращою версією себе. Я сповнена ентузіазму і натхнення, готова підкорювати нові вершини в тату-мистецтві.

Hello there! I am Dominika, your tattoo artist from Kharkiv. Today I want to share my story. Moving to America was a new beginning and a big challenge for me. I know that there is a long way of formation ahead in a new country, but this does not scare me.
Sometimes it can seem that starting all over again is scary. But what really scary is not to try. Each new day is an opportunity to learn, grow and become a better version of yourself. I am full of enthusiasm and inspiration, ready to conquer new heights in tattoo art.

Боротися із цим або прийняти. Боятися цього або контролювати. Дуже актуальна фраза після усіх цих блокувань, коли мені довелося видалити дуже багато постів через репорти Інстаграму. Ну що, дуже я рада, що це татуювання на руці, а не на грудях. Там ми теж зробили тату, не впевнена, що навіть зможу вам показати.
