We often focus on our physical & mental health, but often forget to check in with our energetic health which, if left unchecked, may greatly impact our entire being. 💫

As a practitioner, I have viewed being an empath as a gift. However, it is a double-edged sword. Without self-care, it becomes easy to become energetic sponges - taking on other’s anxieties and emotional distress.

It’s not easy, but I realize how important it is to take time for myself guilt-free. A dear friend reminded me, you cannot pour from an empty vessel.

Let’s practice self-check on a regular basis:
💫 Do I have a consistent schedule set aside for taking care of myself?
💫 Do I set healthy boundaries with friends and clients without guilt?

Recently, a father and his 20 year old son came to see me for Craniosacral Therapy. I first saw the son, then his father right after. I noticed that the son’s body mirrored his father’s. The restrictions were very much relevant for the father, but not the son.

Even my colleagues have experienced the same with mother & baby, and couples, too.

Being a witness to this, I realize how crucial it is for me to love myself better. ❤️‍🩹 What kind of energy do we want to share with our loved ones?
