Picnic Fun! We took a trip to the recently opened Olmstead Park in Sedro Woolley. Egg Roll Day was June 10th! Every two weeks we have a cooking class called Savor the Season where we make and enjoy seasonal goodies. This time, Chef Zack showed us how to make the delicious Filipino treat, lumpia. We love learning something new as well as tasting familiar favorites. Last week we had a wonderful time at Central Skagit Library. We met Ms. Swenson's 3rd grade class for an hour of creativity, reading, and library fun. Sunday we had a blast at the Sedro Woolley Blast from the Past Car Show! It brought back memories of some of our favorite cars. Shirley reminisced about her 57 black Corvette with chrome accents, Delores talked about the many cars she and her husband had over the years, while Kelly told us about driving his 214 6-cylinder 4 speed truck. The skys were gray, but our spirits were bright! 🚘🌥️😁
