🎓💊 Meet Catherine! 💚💙
Last but certainly not least in our Student Pharmacist Spotlight is Catherine!
Catherine is a fourth-year pharmacy student who previously completed a rotation with us, and we're excited to have her back for October and again in February!
This month, Catherine is helping us with a special headache and migraine care project. Did you know that migraine affects approximately 1 in 7 people worldwide? We're grateful for the opportunity to help patients who experience migraines better understand their condition, explore treatment options, and improve their quality of life!
💚 When asked why she chose pharmacy, Catherine shared that she loves how many different career paths the profession offers and the opportunity to make an impact in unexpected ways.
"I love that pharmacy is a multifaceted in the choice of choosing a career field. We're able to make an impact in places you may not think."
One of Catherine's favorite things about pharmacy is the opportunity to connect with patients through community outreach and preventive care.
"I love being able to serve my community through vaccine drives and wellness screenings. This allows me to build a more personal connection with patients and optimize their healthcare and lifestyle plan."
We love seeing Catherine put that passion into practice through the projects she's working on with our team! We're grateful to be part of her pharmacy journey and can't wait to see the difference she continues to make in the lives of her future patients! 💚
