10 years ago, Semmes Pharmacy made the decision to expand our clinical services—bringing Jessica onto the team to help patients better understand their medications and reach their health goals.

Since then, it’s been our privilege to work closely with both our patients and their providers to deliver more personalized, meaningful care.

💚 Celebrating 15 years with Janice! 💚

Janice’s journey to Semmes Pharmacy began after she and her family returned to Mobile following Hurricane Katrina, ready to start over. While raising her boys, she took a part-time position at CVS, where she met Amy.

What she loved most was the people—and when the opportunity came to help open Semmes Pharmacy, she took that leap.

From the very beginning, Janice has built meaningful relationships with patients, many of whom have become like family 💚

Through the years, that same sense of care and support has extended to her as well—especially during life’s challenges.

Fifteen years later, that bond is stronger than ever.

💚 Celebrating 15 years with Amy! 💚

Amy came to Semmes Pharmacy with experience in both pharmacy and medical settings, working as a lead technician while also supporting a physician’s office.

At the time, she was in a challenging season—balancing multiple responsibilities while navigating her own health journey and trying to start a family.

When the opportunity came to help open Semmes Pharmacy in 2011, she took a leap of faith—stepping away from multiple roles and choosing a new path.

That decision allowed her to continue the career she loved in a place where patients truly come first 💚

Fifteen years later, Amy is an incredible leader and a driving force behind our team.

💚 Celebrating 15 years with Lancer! 💚

After pharmacy school, Lancer began his career in retail pharmacy and eventually made his way to Semmes. It was there that he and Alan reconnected—and together, they opened Semmes Pharmacy in 2011.

From the beginning, Lancer had a vision: to create a pharmacy that truly puts patients first—even if that meant having one extra team member and one extra phone line just to better serve the community.

Fifteen years later, that vision is still at the heart of everything we do 💚

Lancer is married to his wonderful wife, Laura, and they have two daughters, AnnaRuth and Christina. Outside of the pharmacy, he enjoys scuba diving, ballroom dancing, gardening, and raising chickens 🐓🌱
