I've been thinking a lot lately about the conditions that allow healing to happen.
We spend so much time searching for the right protocol, the right supplement, the right medicine, the right practitioner.

But what if those aren't the first question? What if healing begins with the container? Not a physical space, but the feeling of being held well enough that your nervous system finally stops bracing...and something inside you has permission to emerge.

My newest essay is about the day I finally understood what people meant when they talked about "the container," and why I think it may be one of the most important parts of healing that we rarely talk about. 🌵

There is something very cathartic about going back and documenting these memories. I easily have 20 different stories at once I want to share, but some really reflect back how and why I'm so passionate about holistic health and the magic of the human body!

Not long after the bathroom floor prayer (see last article), we finally heard the words we had been praying for.

This article has been sitting on my laptop for weeks, but on my heart for over a decade. Many of my FOXO family have followed our story through the years on and I've finally found the platform and inner strength to share some of the bigger moments. The moments that truly led me to the work I do now. Even as I start to write these short essays, I am clearly seeing why I do what I do. So thank you for the love and support.

I don'y truly know where my Substack will go, but do know this: That is the only platform I am building and sharing on. I will still keep my Facebook and Instagram accounts active, but I have no interest in hacking algorithms or creating click bait. My pages have been shut down, shadow banned and flagged more times than I care to deal with and I'm not even very active. So I'd love for you to join me over there! Your nervous system will thank you!

Something was working.
Until it wasn't.
Over a year ago I closed my wellness center and went quiet.
Not because I was done.
Because the questions got deeper.

Turns out becoming the thing you’re building takes a full year. And a nervous system upgrade. And letting the old structure fully dissolve. This wasn’t just a pause. It was formation. And guess what??
