MIH’s Lauren Silverstone, Tim Wiens and Ahmna Khan are attending the CSH Maryland Supportive Housing Forum in Baltimore!

This two-day gathering brings together more than 300 leaders, practitioners and partners from across Maryland for collaboration, learning and innovation. Policymakers, service providers, housing developers, healthcare organizations, advocates and people with lived experience are sharing ideas to advance safe, stable, supportive housing for all Marylanders.

We’re excited to be part of these conversations and to connect with partners who share our commitment to expanding housing opportunities!

The MIH team is in Cambridge this week for the Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS) Conference at the Hyatt Regency!

We’re enjoying several days of learning, discussion, networking and fellowship with partners and colleagues who share our commitment to expanding opportunities for Marylanders with disabilities.

MIH was out in the community this weekend! Community Living Coordinator Valerie Crosby represented MIH at Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott’s Office of Disabilities annual fair, held at the The League for People with Disabilities in Charm City.

Valerie connected with vendors, prospective clients and others committed to enhancing the lives of Marylanders with disabilities, sharing information about MIH’s work and resources.

The fair offered activities that encouraged connection and participation, including a craft room for interactive play and socialization—and even a therapeutic pony!

The Housing Authority of Prince George’s County will accept online applications from Oct. 26-30, 2026. Applying is free. Applicants will be selected by lottery, so applying early during that window will not improve your chances.
