If you know me, you know I love using lacrosse balls as a tool for muscle release 🤩

There are multiple tools you can use and, depending on multiple personal factors, I may recommend others. BUT if you’re not injured, I’m definitely recommending LACROSSE BALLS!

✨ Pros
1️⃣ They are portable
2️⃣ They can target tight spots in muscles very well
3️⃣ YOU can use them on 90% of your body! Maybe more!!

Excited to announce our first PUBLIC S*M workshop of 2026 🙌🏾

Huge shoutout to for hosting us in their gym, so that we can loosen up our bodies before the cookouts start 😋

For those that don’t know, I’m a physical therapist, mobility trainer, and work-life balance coach. I passionately lead a variety of stretch & mobility workshops and customize them to the needs of the community.

Since we’ll be in a Muay Thai gym, we’ll be focusing on the lower body, neck, and shoulders for this workshop.

Extra perks:
1️⃣ She has a gift for each participant so they can apply what they learn at home 🙌🏾
2️⃣ She’ll stay after for those who have questions about their body, current or previous injuries, or are looking for injury prevention tips

Hope ya’ll are ready for May’s because we are! And we’re starting off getting to know Maryann (CEO of ) ☺️

Maryann specializes in full-cycle HR operations and compliance-driven people management. Through the use of her systems, she supports businesses finding employees that are the best fit for their companies.

📜 SHRM-CP certified.

In regards to community, Maryann is interested in building a resource network of minority business owners in the DMV with the goal of establishing a referral based pipeline of resources.

Outside of business, Maryann enjoys living life. Some fun facts include:

We have a great mid-April with of .deep.breath 🙌🏾

Dana is the founder of Strategic Movement Collective, an advisory firm that provides advocacy, government affairs, and capacity-building support to movements and organizations working toward a just and equitable world.

She also launched A Deep Breath, an Initiative of Strategic Movement Collective, which focuses on helping leaders, advocates, and caregivers use somatic breathwork to cultivate resilience and presence.

She supports midlife and mid-career leaders (especially those who spend their lives caring for others) in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and building the internal capacity to continue doing meaningful work without burning out.

At the core of everything I do is this belief: sustainability in leadership begins in the body.
