The updated 2027 ANCC Certification Renewal Handbook takes effect February 1, 2027, introducing a clearer and more flexible renewal framework while maintaining ANCC’s high standards for certification renewal.

🔔 Important: Individuals renewing before February 1, 2027, should continue to follow the current ANCC Certification Renewal Handbook and requirements.

Beginning February 1, 2027, renewal by examination will no longer be available as an option for meeting ANCC certification renewal requirements.
