Each option here isn’t just “healthy”, it serves a specific performance purpose:

Pre-training
Low fibre, easily digestible combinations like apple and banana provide quick carbohydrate availability without unnecessary gut load, making them ideal when time is limited before a session.

Hydration
High water content fruits like watermelon and strawberries can meaningfully contribute to fluid intake, particularly when appetite for fluids is low or during hot environments.

Refuelling
Faster-digesting carbohydrate sources such as banana and mango help accelerate glycogen replenishment post-exercise or between closely spaced sessions.

Recovery
