“Dr. Santos is kind, friendly, and professional. I felt confident in having him care for me.”

A patient let us know that our team took the time to fully explain their procedure, answer every question, and make sure they felt comfortable before moving forward. That clarity and confidence are what vascular care should feel like.

You do not need a referral to experience it. Call Dakota Vascular directly to schedule.

Some of the best things for our health happen outside the clinic.

For Dr. Gregory Nissen, that often means time spent on South Dakota’s rivers, enjoying the outdoors, and staying connected to the places that make our communities special. That’s why Dakota Vascular is proud to support Dakota Trout Unlimited and their work to protect the waters, wildlife, and outdoor experiences that generations of South Dakotans enjoy.

May is National Stroke Awareness Month.
Blocked carotid arteries are a major cause of stroke, and many patients have no warning signs until it becomes serious.

If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or a history of smoking, a vascular evaluation may help identify risks early.

You do not need a referral to schedule. Early detection can protect your future.

🎣 Future Nurse Practitioner in training! 👩‍⚕️🐟

Dr. Nissen’s daughter spent the weekend at Lake Francis Case showing off her fishing skills — landing a smallmouth bass on a fly rod at just 11 years old!

When she’s not reeling in fish, she’s already talking about becoming a future nurse practitioner someday. We’d say she’s off to a pretty impressive start already! 💙

Great catch and great memories made this weekend!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and for the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

“Dr. Kelly is very very good at diagnosing and treating my condition.”

One of our patients shared how continued follow-up care and clear guidance made a difference in his experience. Consistent input, accurate diagnosis, and long-term management are key parts of vascular health.

You can schedule directly with our team. No referral required.
