I am so grateful for these community healing sessions. One of the messages that came through for the group was the reminder that we each contain the entire universe within us. As Carl Sagan said, “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of star-stuff…We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.” Reiki is able to help us experience the depth of this truth.

Thank you to every single soul who has helped make this healing practice a community full of love and magic. Every client, every event, every collaborator, every day I get to do this work with you all is a gift. It is beyond my wildest dreams come true.

Heronkind has always been about encouraging people to shine their own light and to bravely offer their magic and authenticity to the world as part of the medicine we all need to thrive. May we continue doing this sacred work together forever and having a hell of a lot of fun along the way! Cheers to half a decade and all the years to come. 🥰💖

With the Full Moon in Aquarius on July 29, we are encouraged to shed our resistance to standing out from the crowd.

The Leo Sun is dancing with Jupiter, calling us to take our place in the spotlight, to make bold moves with creative projects, and to wear our heart on our sleeve. The Aquarius Moon, meanwhile, is cozied up with Pluto, insisting that we feel our way through collective grief and band together to envision a brighter future.

Healing doesn’t always mean we have to disappear into a cocoon and reemerge once we’ve figured it all out. Instead, can we try channeling the fractured, messy parts of our growth into medicine not just for ourselves, but for the good of the whole?

Trine Uranus in Aries, there are opportunities to lead that we may be taking for granted. What if what makes you strange is exactly what would help light the way for the other weirdos and magic makers? Rather than shrinking for fear we don’t belong, how can we show up more fully and widen the circle? Sextile Neptune in Aries, it’s time to start seeing ourselves more clearly.

On this Full Moon, may we befriend our most authentic selves so fiercely that we dare others to do the same. May we believe in our worthiness to be seen and heard as defiant, beautiful examples of what is possible. May we give it all we’ve got. 🌕✨

With the Full Moon in Capricorn on June 29—opposite the Sun in Cancer—we may find ourselves fixated on our careers, or perhaps our larger purpose, the legacy we want to leave as we aim to make our mark.

Square Saturn and Neptune in Aries, there is a fire within us, bold and strategic, ready to take on the world. Somewhere within though, we may be feeling stifled. Can we figure out a way to reach our goals that doesn’t mean having to suppress our emotional lives at the same time?

Mercury is retrograde and conjunct Jupiter in Cancer, the place that is most sensitive in us, our spiritual home, the depths of our intuition. Slow and steady is the way to be. It’s okay to retreat for a while to figure out next steps. Better than burning out in a blaze of urgency.

Trine Chiron newly in Ta**us, we may be called into a new phase of inner child healing now in the realm of money, security, and values. The more we’re able to tend to these wounds, the more we’ll be able to help those around us who are moving through similar themes.

Find your community and remember that no one is exempt from needing support. May we each be the strong shoulder and the soft cradle. May we surrender to the love that is forever holding us. 🌕✨

Full Moon in Sagittarius Collective Tarot Reading 🌕✨ Flower of Cups, Two of Wands, Ace of Wands

This full moon in fiery, expansive, hopeful Sagittarius wants us to get rid of the myth that we’re behind in our own lives. It is impossible for your story to be anything other than yours. What if you allowed yourself to slow down and move at the pace of trust? What if taking your time is actually the thing that will lead you to where you most long to be? The Two of Wands encourages us not to move faster than our energy knows how to carry us.

The Flower (Queen) of Cups wants us to revel in the magic of our emotions, to let our intuition speak louder than the fear and anxiety our mind might throw at us. Can you embrace the ocean of feeling inside you as a gift rather than a burden? Can you start to let your tears, your joy, your quietest, wisest parts show you how you’re building something rather than falling apart?

The Ace of Wands offers us new beginnings, reminds us where we decided to point our arrow, assures that the mission is still very much alive. The fire in our hearts may take time to catch, but once that kindling turns into a steady flame, it will light the way forward every time we choose to return. We don’t have to rush towards it because it’s already ours.

May we keep saying yes to life without having to know exactly how it all will go. May we trust in the progress of our own unique, singular story. May we move at the gentle, steady pace of our hearts.

New Moon in Ta**us Collective Tarot Reading 🌙✨ The Hanging One, The Root of Stones, The Empress

Better late than never, and really, that’s the whole point. The Root of Stones (Knight of Pentacles) insists that we slow down, move at our own pace, and trust the rhythms of our body. Rushing only depletes us of the energy we need to see things through. Instead of piling pressure onto our backs, where can we let go? What will create more ease and help us to flow with whatever the timeline needs to be? We will get where we’re going either way. The invitation here is to go forth gently.

The Hanging One and The Empress offer bigger context for why moving slowly is so important right now. We are in a time of transition, waiting, not having all the answers, unsure of when we’ll really be ready for our next move. Can we let that be ok? Can we trust that when we’re ready, we will know, and we’ll be able to act from a place that’s more grounded and aligned rather than reactive? The Empress wants us to receive this rest, this nourishment, like it is our birthright, because it is. We get to feel good even in the midst of change. We get to savor the sweet moments.

May we meet ourselves where we need to be, welcoming the sacred pause, staying open to the love and support that is ready to flow our way.
