Today is World Sexual Health Day, and this year’s theme is Every Body.
And that's not a typo! The theme is a reminder that sexual health is about more than preventing HIV and STIs. It means having access to accurate information, prevention and healthcare services, as well as the freedom to make informed decisions about our bodies and our sexual health.

Because sexual health is for every person, in every body, without exception.

As the world mourns the loss of Dolly Parton, she is being celebrated as much for her philanthropic contributions as for her musical talent.

🦋In 1989, Dolly Parton’s production company produced the Academy Award-winning documentary Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt, which chronicled the lives of people memorialized in the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt.

🦋She contributed a track to Red Hot + Country, a 1994 compilation album that raised funds for HIV/AIDS awareness and research. That same year, she participated in the “Break the Silence” campaign, which featured country music stars working to combat stigma surrounding the HIV epidemic.

🦋Last year, she was featured in Allies & Icons, an exhibition of photographs by Herb Ritts to honor celebrities who used their fame to fight HIV stigma and contribute to the global HIV and AIDS response.
