We’re reaching out to our community for a little help. 💚

Sometime overnight, the 16" x 16" plant pot outside the front door of Theta Wellness Center seems to have gone missing. Anyone who has visited us knows how much love we pour into plants and greenery — our lobby is practically a little indoor jungle. 🌿 This one hadn't sprouted yet, but it was so close and we were excited to witness the growth.

That planter was our attempt to bring a bit of that same calming, welcoming energy to the outside of our space too, so we’re honestly pretty bummed to see it gone.

If anyone happened to see anything, noticed someone carrying a large planter nearby, or even spotted it somewhere around town, we’d truly appreciate any information. We’d really love to bring that little piece of our space back home.

🦝🕊️ At Theta Wellness Center, caring for the wellbeing of our community extends beyond our walls and that includes the wildlife we share it with. Many of you know our owner Matthew has a huge heart for local wildlife and the compassionate people who dedicate their time, energy, and resources to rehabilitation efforts across the area.

He is currently working toward creating an ongoing nonprofit initiative designed to support local wildlife rehabbers and help ensure they have the tools, resources, and community backing needed to continue this important work. From injured squirrels and orphaned raccoons to displaced native wildlife, these rehabbers quietly do incredible work behind the scenes every single day. 🐿️

Somewhere along the way, rest started feeling like something we have to earn.

Like we have to be exhausted first.
Overwhelmed enough.
Productive enough.
Stressed enough to deserve a pause.

But your nervous system doesn’t need permission slips.

Sometimes healing looks like:

+ sitting in silence for an hour
+ stepping away from your phone
+ taking one deep breath
+ warming up in the sauna
+ floating without distractions
+ finally unclenching your jaw
+ letting someone take care of you for once

This is your reminder that slowing down is not falling behind.

We see so many people walk through our doors carrying the weight of work, parenting, caregiving, burnout, grief, anxiety, or just the nonstop pace of life. And every day we’re reminded how powerful it is when someone chooses to care for themselves on purpose.
