For many people, especially those recovering from an eating disorder or working toward a more peaceful relationship with food and their body, the current conversation around weight loss can bring up complicated emotions.

💛 Our latest blog explores recovery, body image, and navigating the age of GLP-1 medications with compassion and nuance.

PCOS has a new name: PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome).

The change reflects a growing understanding that this condition is about much more than ovarian cysts or reproductive health alone.
PMOS is understood as a complex, multisystem condition that can involve hormones, metabolism, blood sugar regulation, fertility, skin & hair symptoms, emotional health, and more.
Many people with PCOS/PMOS do not actually have ovarian cysts. The previous name contributed to misconceptions, delayed diagnosis, and an incomplete understanding of the condition.
At Branz Nutrition Counseling, we take a weight inclusive, individualized, evidence based approach to supporting clients with PMOS/PCOS.
Looking for support for PMOS or women's health? We would love to support you!
