Mom captured this moment on the morning of our final overnight shift together🥹

For 8 weeks, I had the honor of being this little guy’s Doula. His mama was firm on him having this photo and she had no idea just how much it would mean for me to have it too.

Postpartum Doula work wears many hats, but there is something incredibly special about caring for your babies through the night, waking to every cry, tending to every need, and holding space so families can truly rest and recover. It fills me with such a deep sense of purpose.

Even when the bags under my eyes grow heavy and my sleep schedule is completely out of rhythm, I’m reminded that another little one was loved with intention, patience, and grace from the very moment they came home… all the way until they graduated from Doula care 🥹

Birth work will always be my #1 love…but newborn care is a very close second 🥰❤️
