Hopkins County EMS

Hopkins County EMS Hopkins County EMS currently maintains 15 MICU units and 3 Emergency Response Vehicles. We have Full time units available for every county.

We have the AMBUS (Multi Patient Transport Vehicle) and WPU (Wildland Paramedic Unit) also available
for use in our service area, and for deployments. Our Services currently cover all of Hopkins, Delta, Franklin, and Rains Counties. Our EMS units are stationed in each county with ready response 24 hours a day. We have 3 full time MICU units stationed in Hopkins County with a 12 hour truck from 10

am, to 10 pm daily. We have 1 full time staffed MICU stationed at each of the other counties, with a response ready stand by if needed. We have additional trucks on the ready for back up, events, and deployments. One of the Emergency Response Vehicles is staffed by a Supervisor daily. The Hopkins County Hospital District/EMS is located at 116 Airport Road, Sulphur Springs, Tx.

🔥 TX EMTF Surges Resources as Wildfire Activity Increases Across Texas

As wildfire activity increases across the state, the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force has surged additional personnel and medical resources to support firefighters and communities impacted by ongoing incidents, including the Ross Fire in Palo Pinto and Jack counties and the Rio Escondido Fire in Hamilton County.

TX EMTF Wildland Fire Support Teams and other specialized medical resources are deploying and repositioning across Texas as operational needs evolve. Our members are working alongside firefighters on the front lines, providing dedicated medical support, responder rehabilitation, and rapid access to emergency medical care in the challenging wildland environment.

We’re proud to serve alongside responders mobilized through the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas Military Department, and fire, EMS, and emergency management partners from across Texas.
