๐ด Got a Pain in the Butt? It Could Be Sciatica.
You'd be surprised how many Rolfing clients walk in pointing to their butt and saying, "I think I have sciatica." It's one of the most common complaints I see โ and one of the trickiest to diagnose, because nerves don't always tell you where the problem actually starts.
The sciatic nerve runs from your lower spine all the way down your leg and into your foot. When it's compressed โ whether by a disc, a muscle like the piriformis, or even an organ like the sigmoid colon โ the pain can make walking, standing, and even lying down miserable.
As a Certified Rolfer, my approach is to find the actual source and free up whatever's compressing it โ not just chase the pain.
Here's what one client had to say: "I'm 2/3 of the way through the series and my long-time sciatica has gone away completely." โ M. Fish
If sciatica is slowing you down, I'd love to help. Schedule an appointment at the Tacoma or Bellevue office โ sciatic nerve pain relief is only a call away.
