Last week, I had the opportunity to lead the Gaither High School Track & Field Team through a series of therapist-guided exercises as part of Next Gen Performance Lab’s mission.

The goal is simple: help young athletes move better, breathe better, perform stronger, and reduce the risk of overuse injuries caused by repetitive movement patterns.

Investing in proper movement now can make a big difference in how athletes feel, train, and compete down the road.

Last month, I had the opportunity to host a vendor booth at the WWOTB “How to Love the Business You’re In” Breakfast.

It was a great morning connecting with local professionals and catching up with Lynette Ramsey, Suzanne Chambers, Cherrie Harrington, and Kim Granata-Clark.

Last week, the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors got together for a team-building event at Florida Fi****ms Academy, the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year winner. It was a great opportunity to connect, have some fun, and spend time supporting an outstanding local business.

This week I attended the ribbon cutting for South Tampa Trading Company with the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. It was great celebrating another local business and catching up with so many familiar faces, including Dale Nabors, Tara Moody, Tanya Cielo, Adrienne Falcone-Godsell, Mike Jenkins, and Ed Siler.

One of my favorite parts of chamber events is seeing our local business community come together to support each other’s success. Congratulations to South Tampa Trading Company on this exciting milestone!
