๐Ÿ“ Financial incentives matter in value-based care, but money alone does not create meaningful specialist engagement.

Trust, clinical relevance, professional relationships, workflow support, shared purpose, and patient outcomes all influence whether specialists truly engage in an accountable care model.

Part 6 of our AaNeel USA Specialist Engagement Toolbox Series examines what it means to align incentives beyond payment and create an environment where participation can actually be sustained.

The best conversations in healthcare are the ones that make you look at what is possible a little differently.

Today, Fernando Rabel stopped by the AaNeel office while he was in Tampa and spent time with Upen Patel and our team talking about the Health Access Cardยฎ.

Fernando brought sharp questions, thoughtful feedback, and a perspective that pushed the conversation forward. When someone with his experience and reach takes a close look at what you are building, you pay attention.

The Health Access Cardยฎ reflects where we believe healthcare is heading: a familiar card becoming a smarter, more connected way for patients to securely access and share their health information.

Fernando, thank you for spending time with us and for bringing such valuable insight to the table. We are looking forward to continuing the conversation.

๐Ÿช› The strongest healthcare strategy will not create change if it does not fit into the way clinicians actually work.

Specialist engagement becomes sustainable when data, referral guidance, follow-up expectations, and care pathways are built into existing workflows instead of layered on top of them.

Part 5 of our Specialist Engagement Toolbox Series looks at the connection between strategy and daily practice, and why the best tools are often the ones clinicians can use consistently with the least friction.

๐Ÿ’ฐ $2.5 billion in gross savings. Nearly $1 billion in net savings for CMS.

The Performance Year 2024 ACO REACH results are impressive, but the numbers only tell part of the story. Successful accountable care requires strong providers, coordinated care teams, connected information, effective workflows, and an operating model built to turn insight into action.

We are especially proud that every ACO REACH client supported by AaNeel achieved savings and received shared savings for Performance Year 2024.

The credit belongs to the ACO leaders, providers, and care teams doing the work. We are proud to support them with technology and operational capabilities that help make that work easier to execute, measure, and improve.

๐Ÿ“ A referral network may look strong on paper and still fail the patient.

Access is about more than whether a specialist appears in a directory. Appointment availability, geography, quality, communication, and patient fit all matter when determining whether a referral pathway actually works.

Part 4 of our Specialist Engagement Toolbox Series looks at why referral network planning needs to measure the real patient experience, not simply network participation.

๐Ÿ”ฆ More data does not automatically mean better decisions.

Specialists need information they can trust, understand, and act on. Dashboards and reports create real value when they help answer three questions: What is happening? Why does it matter? What should happen next?

Part 3 of our Specialist Engagement Toolbox Series explores how data transparency can move beyond the scorecard and become a tool for stronger conversations, better decisions, and greater trust.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ The menu is finalized. The ingredients are ready. The kitchen is stocked. But is the team ready for the dinner rush?

Healthcare organizations are doing a tremendous amount of work to prepare technology, systems, compliance requirements, and workflows for January 1. But there is another piece of readiness that can be much easier to overlook: the people expected to put all of that preparation into action.

Care coordination teams are a lot like the sous chefs of healthcare. They help turn the larger vision into action, supporting providers, responding to new information, coordinating across care settings, and helping patients navigate what comes next.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ A platform can be live and a workflow can be documented. That does not necessarily mean an organization is ready to execute when the pressure is on. Our latest blog asks an important question as January 1 approaches: Are your sous chefs ready?

Healthcare interoperability is finally moving beyond compliance and becoming a strategic advantage for ACOs. Here's why that changes everything.

๐Ÿ”ง One of the biggest sources of fragmentation in healthcare can come down to one question: Who owns the next step?

When patients move between primary care, specialists, testing, follow up, and care management, unclear responsibility can quickly create gaps in the care journey.

Part 2 of our Specialist Engagement Toolbox Series looks at how shared accountability can strengthen handoffs, clarify expectations, and create better continuity across the care team.

๐Ÿ“‰ Physician burnout is moving in the right direction. But there is still a long way to go.

New data highlighted by Health Exec shows physician burnout fell to 41.9% in 2025, down from 48.2% in 2023, while job satisfaction remained strong at 77%.

That progress matters. So does what comes next.

For healthcare technology leaders, the challenge is not simply introducing more technology. It is making sure technology actually makes the work of healthcare easier. Better access to information, less time searching for records, fewer administrative roadblocks, and workflows that support clinicians rather than slow them down.

Interoperability should not just connect systems. It should help give time back to the people delivering care. ๐Ÿ’™Encouraging progress, and an important reminder that there is still work to do.

Physician burnout rates continue to fall, and the healthy trend comes alongside strong and stable rates of physician job satisfaction.
