Memorial Day weekend may be over, but for our residential program, it was full of goodness! ☀️

Join us in celebrating Tyler and his success through our Supported Employment Program! 🎉

Tyler recently started a position at Chipotle Mexican Grill as a dishwasher, but he hasn’t stopped there. Since being hired, he has quickly learned a variety of new tasks and is already helping on the front line as well!

If you stop by Chipotle, be sure to say hi to Tyler and let him know he’s doing a great job… and maybe double check that he’s making your order correctly. 😉🌯

We're wishing a BIG congratulations to all of this year’s graduates, especially the incredible seniors from CSS and the many students throughout our community reaching this exciting milestone. Your hard work, growth, and dedication have led you to this moment, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙

The ICILA group has been staying busy lately, and it’s safe to say there was something for everyone! 💙

Part of the group headed to Aerie's Resort, where they rode the lift to the top and took on the mountain coasters, an experience they won’t forget anytime soon. They also visited Treehouse Wildlife Center, and as always, the animals were a huge hit.

Meanwhile, another group explored the Museum of Illusions - St. Louis and enjoyed lunch at City Foundry STL, making the most of a day full of fun and new experiences.

While the groups went in different directions, one thing remained the same: everyone had a great time stepping outside their comfort zones and trying something new. Moments like these are exactly what we mean when we say enhancing opportunities to Live, Learn, Work, and Play.

The sunshine has been calling, and the CDS crew has been happy to answer! ☀️

With the beautiful weather recently, everyone has been enjoying more time outside. We've been taking trips to the park, playing pickleball and basketball, relaxing in the sunshine, and even testing out our fishing skills. While the fish may not have been biting much, the smiles made it well worth the trip!

Days like these are such a meaningful part of what we do at CSS. They give the individuals we serve opportunities to get out, stay active, try new things, and simply enjoy time together in the community. 💙

The ICILA group had such a special time visiting The Flower Patch to create Mother’s Day gifts. We always love any opportunity to spend time with Mary and the gang. They never fail to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

Not only did they help everyone create beautiful flower arrangements, but they also treated the group to an amazing ice cream sundae bar afterward, which was a huge hit!

To make the day even more meaningful, Mary generously donated a portion of the proceeds back to the program to help support an upcoming vacation the group will be taking in honor of her sister and our dearly missed group member, Sara Niebrugge.

We are incredibly thankful for the kindness, generosity, and love shown to CSS and the Intermittent CILA program. Experiences like these truly reflect our mission to Live, Learn, Work, and Play together. 💐🍨❤️

All aboard for a great day at the Monticello Railway Museum! 🚂

CSS enjoyed a scenic train ride aboard vintage rail cars pulled by historic diesel locomotives. The group explored the museum grounds, toured several historic rail cars, and checked out exhibits highlighting Illinois railroad history.

The volunteers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, helping make the experience both educational and fun for everyone involved! 💙
