Quick update: I am officially getting off UTMC Transplant and am going to Cleveland Clinic for the list. I call last week to set up appointments. They said a lot of it is virtual so not too much driving. I was concerned about when the call comes how do we get there with both vehicles not able to take the highway. Cleveland Clinic does virtual appointments and I have a lot of workup done for that list that may help me get listed sooner. I stayed in Toledo so long with no response from transplant. I kept everything local and still no luck. So ahare looking forward to a better area to draw organs from from since this area had me wait 5 years! Like today 5 frickin years! Anyways i also met a person in traffic who wanted to donate but she took my email and said she'd email. No such luck so far but the person just wanted to donate any which way possible and I appreciate that! Hopefully its just random. Anyways having a fistula gram tomorrow so ill be MIA for tomorrow most of the morning. As always remember to share the gift of life with others! You only need 1 kidney to survive! Share your spare!

Update on the kidney journey and today's procedure! More news next week after the results. Warning ⚠️ this is a ten minute video and it talks not just about the kidney journey but health in general for me this past month. Still on dialysis and same days. Still have the car ad and that number on the cover page doesn't work! I hope no one has called it lol I need to change the pictures 😅 anyways. Please become an organ donor! Crazy couple of days. Last night went to the ER cause I kept vomiting blood. It ended up being a Mallory Weis Tear (I ruptured my esphosagus puking 10 plus times on Tuesday. Went to treatment yesterday I didn't gain anything between days so I was run "ultra filtered" lol like I'm a water lol. Anyways, Toledo Hospital was crazy, so packed and everything walked thru them doors last night. They pretty much said I have gastroparisis and today I'm back here for a procedure called a gastric emptying study. I'll be here til 1130 lol since my s**t ain't digested yet. So I'm pretty sure its what I said it was this was the follow up to my endoscopy a couple weeks ago. The good news is it's treatable and I'd go on medication to help digest food. I was predisposed to getting due to diabetes for (30 years this year!) So fun times ahead lol thots and playas please I get some answers to all this! I'm tired of puking every day it's getting to be too much! Much love ❤️ Leah

Hey guys! Been getting views on here and want to post some content. This update will be short and sweet. I'm still on the list at UTMC. Not much has changed but just hearing how impossible it's going to be getting a dead donor is gonna be. Apparently I'm compatible with less than 1 percent of the population with my 100 percent PRA. I feel like giving up. Less than 1 percent thats zero percent. It had nothing to do with me it happens with multiple transplants and blood transfusions. I did what I thought was best and now I'm screwed. I need a living donor asap. Idk how long I can do this! Five, 5! Years on the list and 2 calls 5 years ago. It's to the point to where ill probably die on dialysis or get one once they start cloning kidneys or growing them in labs. I don't want a pig kidney like 1 guy did. He ended up passing away anyway. It looks so bleak out and depressing. I thought about a TikTok page and just tell my story in a series of videos since there's so much to the story. Hey everyone! I just completed my dental clearance for the list. I'm good to go with that. My next test, a mammogram, is in August. I wanted to share my folder so any one who needs to know what to do the name and number is right there. Also, I had a nice appointment on Tuesday this week. I was able to see some old co workers/friends and my old doctors. One Dr, said that I have like no chance of matching because my PRA is high, so I'm a hard match. Still finding a donor is the best option for me. I put less restrictions on my case, meaning I will take kidneys with Hepatitis C and others who are KDPI higher than 85. Essentially, whenever or whatever I'm going to get i gotta jump on it. That same dr talked about pig kidneys. I read the article it worked for someone for 2 or 3months then that man died. I know who my match would be but they haven't called the coordinator or anything.

Good news! I was contacted by someone who saw the back of my car and emailed me! It was while I was at UTMC. I was able to tell my coordinator to check the message asap! She did the person says they have some emails sent. I'm really hoping this works out! I'm staying strong 💪🏽 i gotta be, now that a glimmer of hope has been seen. So I remain on the list, day in and day out. But the sun will have to come out one day, it can't always be cloudy and rain.

Good Morning! Busy day ahead, this morning I go to UTMC for my transplant evaluation for the list. Its been going on 5 years, no kidney call yet. It's easy to get discouraged that it's never going to come but I just need to get my story out there. I need to try harder to find a match, since my PRA is at 100% I'm a hard match. I really wish I could meet someone who wants to donate a kidney. It seems like never ending story of failure. Failure that now makes me a pessimist that I would get a donor. But I gotta go on, I have no choice but to. So, today I go and do that long interview, testing and bloodwork for like 5 hours. Anyways, wish me luck everything goes well today! I appreciate every call or message.
