O.C.E.A.N., Inc. is hosting its Health & Mental Health Advisory Committee Meeting at the Administrative Office in Toms River, bringing together healthcare professionals, community partners, and advocates dedicated to supporting children and families.
Today’s meeting focuses on collaboration and the exchange of ideas to strengthen services in the areas of health, mental health, oral health, disabilities, and nutrition. Attendees are also hearing from guest speakers Mathew Giachetti of LifeForce USA, Inc., who is sharing important summer safety information, and Lauren Casas, MA, LPC, ACS, Director of the Preferred Center for Children and Families and Trauma-Informed Care Coordinator, who is providing insight into trauma-informed approaches to care.
Together, these conversations help ensure that children and families have access to quality, compassionate, and responsive services throughout our communities.
