Curls & Coffee event was a success... although after spending entirely too much time curling my hair this morning, not a single curl survived the Oklahoma wind (Not one!!!). 😂

Thankfully, the coffee, community, and conversations were still a 10/10! What a beautiful morning spent at the Curls & Coffee event hosted by Roshonda of at the adorable . ☕💛 We built “Glow up” parfaits packed with ingredients that support healthy hair, skin, nails, energy, and gut health while talking about simple, realistic ways nutrition can support beauty and wellness from the inside out.

A few reminders from our conversation:
👉🏾Protein provides the building blocks for healthy hair and nails
👉🏾Colorful foods deliver antioxidants that help support skin health
👉🏾Fiber is your friend, but don’t forget the water! 👉🏾Increasing fiber without increasing fluids is a recipe for constipation.
👉🏾Small, consistent habits often create the biggest results

One of my favorite parts of being a dietitian is creating spaces where women can gather, learn, share experiences, and leave feeling empowered, not overwhelmed. Thank you, Roshonda, for inviting Ladybug Nutrition to be part of such a special gathering. Today we’re springing into fiber one sip at a time!

Had such a great time on today sharing simple ways to boost fiber this spring and summer and of course talking all about ! From gut health to easy everyday swaps, we covered how small changes can make a big impact on your wellness routine. Also, getting to be on set with the beautiful and oh-so-talented Alexis Young made the experience even more fun! Still pinching myself seeing my contributions featured in multiple articles with Prevention! I used to read the little hand-held books all the time growing up😍. Anyone else remember those??🤍

So grateful to the writers and editors who continue creating space for evidence-based health and nutrition conversations and thank you for allowing me to be part of them. It’s always an honor to collaborate alongside so many talented health professionals who are passionate about helping people make informed, realistic choices for their wellbeing.

In a world full of nutrition noise, I’ll always be passionate about helping share credible, practical, science-backed information that people can actually use in everyday life. 🫶🏽

The first “Girls Who Grill” event is in the books! 🔥
Thank you for inviting me to this amazing event!! It was everything I needed today 🥹.

Have you eaten at Pizzeria Gusto before?!
Because today… we had the chef teaching us how to grill 🔥🔥🔥

I learned so much, the food was AMAZING, and yes, delicious homemade chimichurri made an appearance 😍
Connecting with old friends, meeting new ones, all over steak… need I say more? 👀

Still thinking oatmeal is the ultimate fiber food? Let’s talk about it 👀

I’m so excited to have contributed to this Real Simple article by alongside fellow dietitians & !

We’re breaking down foods that actually pack even more fiber and how to think about fiber in a realistic way.

👉🏾A “good source” of fiber = 2.5–4.9 grams
👉🏾A “high source” = 5 grams+ per serving

With a daily goal of 25–38 grams, aiming for ~5 grams per meal/snack is a great way to get there without overthinking it.

Some of my favorite high-fiber foods:
🍓 Raspberries (8–9 grams per cup!)
🥦 Asparagus
🫘 Lentils
🍠 Sweet potatoes with cayenne + cinnamon (Yummers)

Fiber doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be consistent 💛

Another Tasty Tuesday in the books and y’all… this one was GOOD 👏🏽
Always such a joy being in the studio with the amazing KOKH FOX 25 News, Oklahoma team! Thank you Wayne! Great energy, great people, and of course… great food 💛 With May 1st right around the corner, we’re stepping into National Salsa Month the only way I know how… with FLAVOR 💃🏽🔥

This “Pineapple Kick” Sweet + Spicy Salsa is the perfect mix of fresh, juicy, and just enough heat to keep things interesting. AND here’s your little nutrition nudge 👀👇🏽

It’s pineapple season 🍍 which means they’re showing up more flavorful and more affordable (we love a win-win). Fruits in season = better taste + better price 🙌🏽
When picking one, look for that sweet smell and heavy for it's size feel when you pick it up, that’s how you know it’s ready. Once you bring it home, go ahead and cut it within 1–2 days and store it in the fridge to keep it fresh. Throw it into salsas (obviously 😉), smoothies, salads, or yogurt for a quick flavor boost.

Fun fact: A single pineapple plant only produces ONE pineapple per season… so yes, we’re going to enjoy every bite of this one! Consider this your sign to bring a little extra flavor into your kitchen this month 💛

I’m still taking it all in… what a phenomenal day.
Thank you to every single person who showed up, supported, encouraged, and celebrated this moment with us. Seeing so many of you walk through our doors meant more than I can put into words. This space started as an idea… a hope… a vision to create a place where people could feel supported in building a healthier, more joyful relationship with food. And now…it’s real. It’s ours. It’s yours too🥹.

To my community behind the scenes, the ones setting up, capturing moments, checking on me, serving guests, and making sure everything flowed, you carried me through this day. I am so grateful for you.

PSA: Big week over here at Ladybug Nutrition!!! This week brings several highlights, starting with the news that I’m l licensed to serve clients in LOUISIANA. Yay!! It’s incredibly meaningful to give back to the place that shaped me, where I learned the joys of delicious food and the community to share it with.❤️ S/O to my longtime and sweet, sweet friend for the impromptu interview.
