Customer Highlight!

Last month, Calvin went out to deliver, setup, and train Samuel Phillips on his Merlin Elite to help him keep doing things on his own.

Sam is 99 years old (turning 100 in October!) and still living independently with support from his family.

He’s a World War II veteran who was part of the atomic bomb testing program in the South Pacific. After his service, Sam spent 35 years as a firefighter in DeQueen, AR. When he retired, he and his wife traveled the country on a motorcycle and he picked up a love for gardening.

These days, he’s still an avid gardener (just traded in the motorcycle).

NanoPac is partnering with the VA to help bring assistive technology directly to veterans who need it. In this article, learn how Calvin visits veterans in their homes while connecting with Sara, the VIST Coordinator in Fayetteville, through a video call. This collaboration allows Sara to remotely evaluate each veteran while Calvin demonstrates assistive technology designed to support greater independence.

Hannah had her baby boy, Drew one month ago today. We had a great time last week when they stopped by to visit with the team and so Drew could check out NanoPac.
