🥳 A birthday present that was well worth the wait!

🎉 Arlene, an artist in our Fine Arc at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis program, celebrated her 60th birthday back in May. At Arlene's surprise party, her niece, Khamisi, filmed and posted a video in which Arlene said she thought Erik Estrada, the actor, might be there. Arlene is a longtime Erik superfan!

❤️ The video went viral, and eventually, Erik and his wife saw it. That led to another surprise for the birthday girl: a Zoom call with her idol!

🖥️ Yesterday, Arlene, her family, friends, and peers joined “Ponch” from our training center. The CHiPS star sent Arlene a gift box packed with autographed memorabilia and spent time chatting with her.

Could an in-person meet-up be in the works? 👀 Stay tuned!
