I've been eyeing this beautiful mullein plant on the side of the road. After last night's frost, I decided it was time to harvest it.
Mullein has been used traditionally as a remedy for the respiratory tract, including bronchitis. It works as an expectorant, meaning it expels and loosens mucus. I plan on drying it and saving some for tea, and making a tincture with the rest. Some people dry out the leaves and smoke it. Cold and flu season is upon us and I'm grateful to have been blessed with this wonderful plant to add to my collection of natural remedies. Mother nature provides all these wonderful plants to help us heal naturally. 🙏 💚

Chaga for heath!

It’s tea for me... I caught a stomach bug and while it hasn’t been too bad and I could probably push through I’ve spent the past two days with my feet up. Making some healing tea to help it along.

Lemon Balm, chamomile, ginger, rosehip seeds and of course some ADK CHAGA to get me back on my feet.

It’s so pretty 😍
