It’s that time again for our annual Back to School drive for kids in our community! If you can help, please drop off supplies or donations and we will pick up supplies for you! 📚✂️✏️

We do not have specific supply orders for each child yet, so we are asking for the most common. I know last year we did have a need for headphones, calculators, hand sanitizers, tissues, and uniforms. We do our best to collect what we can ahead of time and use donations to get specifics when it’s closer to the new school year. ❤️

There’s a little one who comes to the facility during the week and she lights up the faces of everyone she meets! We were a little hesitant in the beginning if her energy level would be too high for for such a calm environment, but what we learned was her presence excites our residents! They love to watch her, hold her, and share with her. They are entertained by her everyday and they ask for her when she’s not there. We have also learned that this is a mutual relationship. Maisie learns all of their names and loves to welcome them to the breakfast table, walks them outside to see the animals, and loves to celebrate their birthdays! She’s learning compassion for a generation that absolutely adores her and we love seeing the love between them! 🫶🏼
