My name is Chelsea Lowe and I am the Owner of A Better Self, LLC. I recently quit my job to start this business and finish up my Degree in Health Counseling and Certificate in Life Coaching. My DREAM is to open a store front for a Wellness Center that includes Life and Health Counseling, mental health services, clinical workshops, Community Events, and a small boutique with all local vendor’s merc

handise. My vision is to create a space for my community to gather with their loved ones and spend QUALITY time with one another. Meet Margaret! Margaret is a long-time dance teacher and fitness-lover who has been coaching group classes for 7 years now. She loves movement of all kinds and has experience coaching both low-impact toning classes as well as high-energy HIIT classes. As a certified NASM Certified Personal Trainer she loves to bring her knowledge of the body and movement to her classes and hopes every person in the room leaves feeling empowered and successful. When you’re on a health journey, you’ll eventually find what works best for you, your lifestyle, and your goals.

For me, I prefer three balanced meals each day with very limited snacking. I aim for about 500 calories per meal and leave the remaining 100–300 calories flexible. That flexibility allows room for my morning coffee, an impromptu glass of wine with neighbors, a scoop of ice cream on a summer night with my kids, or a snack on those days when dinner won’t happen until 7 PM.

This approach gives me balance. It helps me fuel my body with nutritious foods while still making room for life’s little extras and special moments with the people I love!

Remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. The best plan is the one that you can enjoy and sustain.
